Absolutely incredible to me that some people don't seem to understand this bit of human psychology:
If I have a few million dollars in my hand and I want to <give> it to someone to build something in a domain I care about, as a grant... The LEAST I'm going to expect of you is to treat the process with respect and a shred of effort, and fill out whatever application I ask. After all, you came knocking on my "free money" door. I didn't show up and demand you write an essay for me for my own enjoyment.
I'm about to just give away money to you - as a gift - and you're going to whine about writing your name and description of your project in a form? (especially after I've seen you spend hours writing hundreds of shitposts on nostr all day). Yea fuck you then, I'll give my free money to someone who isn't an entitled brat.
