I don't think either are psyops.
The way this guy struck a chord with so many people is so genuine. You don't just hear the pain in his voice, you feel it. That's how you know it's genuine.
The way social media influencers pounced on it isn't evidence of a psyop, it's evidence of what a shitty job it is that they desperately capitalize on something that makes waves like this.
