I get it. The way I see it is I'm not there to expect income, i'm looking to see who's interested first and how much time I should dedicate to my uploads. Some recordings are from my phone and I just want to get the ideas out. Or if I think a riff is interesting enough, I'd like to post a breakdown/slowed down technique if there was interest. I have most of my stuff on stemstr and nostr.build, but that's free and may not influence zaps/following. I don't know who listens/likes or who might pay without a donation zap.
Something super cheap is like a pre-zap, and if it is of good quality then they could be around for more. There's also a suprise factor. If something is locked under something super cheap, it could bring curiosity, and a payment could result in higher quality than expected, getting them to support more often more quality content, and be willing to pay more for high quality content.
