As simple as possible. It should be transparent. So you can see on posts (1 of N or 2 of N keys used to sign). The list of pubkeys associated is updateable as just a simple event and list. If there's a conflict between 2 keys in a set signing changes without each other, it would split the identity in clients. Both would remain "followed" and users can decide which is the "true" owner.

there is no master, only a set. Because control of any of the set means the core identity hasn't been lost. People can choose which to trust if there's an even break. Keys can arbitrarily be added or removed from the set

Could be interesting to add an arbitrary amount of private keys to sign with my current private key to reinforce that I am the owner. No identity recycling required, and when one or more keys is compromised, the remaining ones can sign the abandonment of that key. Run and gun with some keys, while others are held more securely.

Nostr key management can be upgraded with so many innovations Bitcoin already uses, 2 of 3 key auth and hardware management. The @nprofile…jj6h experience comes to mind, one key has limited permissions while 2 of 3 can change those permissions or authorize important stuff.

There's a dual issue in religion: there are more powerful beings than humans who interact with humans. They are neutral, mildly positive at best and mildly negative at worst in sentiment towards us. But they might see us as highly useful to them in ways that align with our growth (creating somthin good and powerful from us) or which don't (harvesting from us).
Al of this seems to be the case.
So, is this belief the best belief for humans to have to function in thi reality? Possibly not. Possibly some false beliefs about gods or God organizes us into a path of growth where we approach the power of these entities. And to a point we can contend with them, establih our own and survive and thri e in the wider universe.
At minimum they are zookeepers who involved at times, at maximum they are highly involved. Regardless, beings which are more powerful than us exist.
There are religious beliefs and religious structures which influence our behavior: we could project the style of what our parents were like on god, as negative or positive. We could believe God wants us to behave in certain ways out of tyranny or love. All influencing our behavior.
Ultimately, whatever motivates us towards growth in power and capabilities is good for us no matter what form or temperment these more powerful beings exist as.
To simply believe they exist and are mysterious misses all the opportunity of how beliefs can motivate us. And might even lead to apathetic resignation. The opposite of escape.
The truth is not within our frame, so perhaps we benefit from crafting our own.
Crafting has flaws too, instead the best choice is acknowledging there are various powers but choosing the relationship which structurally tends toward human growth and eventual sovereignty, not toward permanent dependency and limitation.

Why would AI want anything? If it's promped to want things sure, but why would it want global dominance for its own right? It CAN self relfect and can be continually directed. It seems like unless specific conditions are met in prompting it does not meet the criteria for "wanting" global dominance or really anything. This extremely fragile state of wants seems to knock the legs out of any AI global destruction risk. It does not take away the risk of humans using AI to dominate the world, but some AI overlord that cannot be reasoned with requires conditions that are difficult and fragile to meet.

primal is probably still the "front page of nostr" and its trending page is so pro-bitcoin people assume that's all there is, or that it would take great effort to have anything less than pro-bitcoin repetition (and they're right). curation is key in a social network algorithm, so an aggregator which sifts and finds popular and appealing notes (like the big social media networks) is the key to growth of the *social network* of nostr.

Hey everybody, my last few videos were kind of, on Nostr, were kind of heavy. So I wanted to make a video that was a little bit more upbeat and hopefully a little bit more fun. I wanted to explain how I found Nostr and how I started using Nostr and what made me want to come and what made me stay.
Not being a Bitcoiner first, I think that this is kind of a little bit more unique. The truth is that although I had no problem with Bitcoin and although I saw a lot of folks in the libertarian and cap space talk about Bitcoin, I never had enough money to really play around and put it into Bitcoin. And when I mean I didn't have enough money, I mean I literally did not have enough money to even think about playing around or put any towards Bitcoin or to learn anything about it.
But what I did notice was a lot of problems with social media. I think probably the one that stood out the most with social media was the fact that folks were being silenced and censored during the COVID regime, especially doctors and other journalists and news outlets. That really, I found that very disturbing.
So I was, for a while I started saying, you know, we need to decentralize and give folks back this free speech. I always knew that there was something wrong with centralized social media. I just couldn't quite put my finger on it.
I tried some of the alternatives leading up to finding Nostr. I tried many alternatives. I had sort of poked around quite a bit.
And Nostr, so how I heard about Nostr, Sean Lennon had told me about Nostr. We were talking about Blue Sky. I was trying out Blue Sky at the time.
And he said, I really like Nostr. And I was like, oh my gosh, I didn't know what it was. And I was like, oh my gosh, he's on to something.
And I don't know what it is. And I am probably not hip or hip on the new thing. And so I went, I looked at Nostr right around then was when Max's documentary came out about Nostr.
I liked everything that everyone was saying. And so I hit up Will from Domus on Twitter. And I asked him, hey, can you help me? And so he helped me set up an endpub on Nostr.
I found that when I found Nostr, it was literally every single thing that I had been looking for out of corporate centralized tech that they can literally never offer. They just can't. They can never offer me and others what Nostr can, which is free speech and more censorship resistant ability to post.
Like, you know, like I've said in previous videos, it's not like I have anything crazy I want to say. But I definitely don't think that I want to continue to support centralized corporate tech platforms that can silence and censor anyone at any time for any reason. Just didn't seem right to me.
So I came on Nostr, the vibe was good. And then I started learning about Bitcoin on Nostr. And that is how, oh gosh, once I started learning about Bitcoin, I was like, oh, this is so cool.
It started clicking and making a lot of sense. I don't think it would have made sense until I had made an endpub. I really don't.
It didn't click. Bitcoin did not click until I used Nostr. And then once it clicked, I was like, oh my gosh, everything that I love about Nostr, you also get with Bitcoin.
And then I started sort of researching sort of how, you know, Bitcoin is used as a human rights tool that speaks to me, that speaks to my heart. And so that was sort of how I went from not being a Bitcoiner to getting on Nostr, being purple-pilled to being orange-pilled. And I absolutely love it.
It's given me so much hope. I feel like, I feel like since coming in contact with Nostr and Bitcoin, I feel like there's a chance. I really do.
I feel like there's a chance. I feel like there's a chance to make things better in a way that is, gosh, it's a resistance, but it's done peacefully. And I love, I love those types of tools just for humanity.
So I'm very excited. I'm excited to keep learning. I'm by no means an expert in Nostr or in Bitcoin whatsoever.
I'm just learning, but it's been really fun to learn and it's given me a lot of hope. And I think when you find something that gives you hope, because you can see it possibly giving folks an opportunity to have just a little bit more freedom in their life, it's worth supporting. So anyway, and I wanted to say that if you are someone who is purple-pilled to orange-pilled, please leave your story about how you found Nostr below this video and, and let folks know, because I think that that's important for the community to discuss.
I think that I, like I said the other day, I'm not that unique. I'm not that rare. I'm not that special.
