That's really interesting, thanks... It's a different lens on inequality to look at it from the perspective of even the most ostensibly "virtuous" use of capital, which is charity.

Also a good counterpoint to the liberal canard of "gee if Jeff Bezos just gave $1000 to everyone etc etc."

Whether it's a charity, business, or open source project, too little or too much funding can be equally toxic. Like a garden it needs the "right" amount of water to grow.
