Battle of the Muscovy Drakes!
Larger, much older Big has been in quarantine since we got him, and “fighting” through the fence with 10-month-old Donnie, current farmyard champ.
Big was released today, and within minutes he and Donnie had their first real showdown. It lasted almost 10 minutes and seemed to end in a draw.
A short fight awhile later ended with Donnie retreating from Big, for now.
We shall see if size and experience ultimately prevail over youth and better conditioning!
