— Muscoy duck and goose are excellent as well! 🤤
We’ve considered ostrich and emu, but are definitely intimidated. 😅 Though a Muscovy hen did this to my arm today, but it’s just a bad scratch. And to be fair, I was catching her to sell to another farm.
Our Muscovies breed so well, happily free-range, and are so delicious that it’s honestly hard to beat!
No bugs, soyslop or Frankenmeat for us!

-- that brings me back to my original question.
I called the wireless broadband provider who gave us the router, but no manual or link to change settings, like we had with our old router. Told them I wanted to turn off the 5G. Guy asked why. Silly me, I told him. He was nice but said it was a tinfoil concern. And that it wouldn't make a difference in the EMF, since "turning off" the 5G only makes the signal unavailable for connection, but the router still sends it out the same.

My phone only gets one bar of LTE from the nearest cell tower.
There's a receiver dish on top of the house for the local, rural fixed broadband wireless carrier. That antennae is wired to our router.
So I'm curious how it might be possible to minimize the wireless EMF off the router (until we get to where we have the needed hardlines in the house).

We do keep the router unplugged while we're sleeping at least.

2026-08-28 15:25:35 GMT

So about the 5G wireless signal from our router... 🛜😵‍💫
When possible, I try to minimize the EMF in our house (and bodies). Our rural location helps, with our router the only one within range.
I've been told it's useless to "turn off", the router's 5G signal, since that would just make the signal unavailable to connect to, but the router would still be emitting the same amount of EMF. Does that seem correct?
Also, please hit me with any info you have on the safety or danger of 5G.
Thanks!

The filter idea is interesting as well. I always think of those filters as being more effective for airborne particulates though, rather than for VOCs or CO2 accumulation.

The sunroom is an addition, with a door into where there's a house HVAC zone thermostat.
To stay comfortable while sedentary in the sunroom, I keep it about 4 degrees warmer than the house. If I leave the door wide open in the summer, it warms up the room with the thermostat and makes the other zone rooms too cold.
(The VOCs are mostly from stored materials.)

— a ratio of about 3-4 hens to one drake seems to work pretty well. Less hens can get “overworked” by the drake. It helps though that the hens can usually manage to fly away from the drake when they’re not interested in mating; the drakes are so much bigger that they don’t fly as well.

Debauchery and feminism seem intertwined to me when it comes to sexual and reproductive liberty/licentiousness.
Wilson's point in the book seems to be that many (most?) leaders of the feminist cause (going back a couple hundred years at least) have been deeply involved in occult practices.
She also uses the word "occult" to mean that their occult involvement is generally hidden from and unknown by most women.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it’s located on the campus of one of the oldest and last remaining women-only colleges.

Yesterday I visited the Firestone Baars Chapel, designed by Finnish architect Eero Saarinen. (He also designed the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and Dulles International Airport, amongst other unique structures.)
The building is unlike any I’ve ever seen! It was starkly beautiful, and at the same time felt cold and lifeless spiritually. Strikingly, for a chapel, there was not even a hint of religious or symbolic imagery anywhere. Perfectly suited for an ecumenical future with one world religion.
