I think his point was that just smashing through books to brag you’ve read X books is pointless, you don’t retain or absorb the information or follow the loose threads to fully comprehend what you’ve read.
I’m aiming for 25 this year and so far am on track but can already tell that will be a stretch to fully absorb that many.
And yeah there’s a lot of useless books, including in #Bitcoin now, but then occasionally you come across a gem as I have right now - one of those right books with the right content at the right time that happens a few times in life and gets you really juiced for it.

The absolute last thing governments let go of will be law enforcement and tax collection. Treasuries will be shoved down the throats of a whole bunch of state-sanctioned entities who might be unhappy buyers of treasuries, but they’ll be buyers nonetheless.

PAYG withholding
The system is setup such that employers take the taxes out of your salary and pay direct to Gov before they deposit the remainder of your pay to your bank - if they don’t, THEY are on the hook for tax fraud.
It’s a LOT easier for the Gov and ATO to audit businesses, which require registration with the government to exist in the first place.

Wind and solar demonstrably output less energy for capital investment today than any other form of energy.
Nuclear outputs shit tons more with its longer lifecycle.
Going to denser energy forms that the US blocked was my original point. I can point you to a few thousand economists each with decades of experience behind them who don’t actually have the first clue of what is happening with the economy because their entire knowledgebase (Keynesianism) is built on faulty foundations; but they’re certain they’re right all the same.

Well that’s the point - the old doctors aren’t as up-to-date with more modern effective treatments as the younger ones and by now even the old ones are all just pharma reps any way.
There’s a big difference in surgeons the other way where treatment outcomes are worse for new surgeons and measurably better once they’ve got a few hundred surgeries under their belt which makes sense when you think about it from a practice perspective.

Seen evidence that this Milei coin was known about by insiders in advance. @npub1sng…lthh posted a clip of RowdyCrypto’s livestream where he got a message on Telegram and immediately ploughed $250k USDC in (he ended up losing money 😂), and there’s other screenshots going around as well as a bunch of Argentina coins released in preceding days.
The scammers got $87 Million out and all they had to do was setup a Google form on a fresh domain and Milei promoted it, without which this wouldn’t have gone anywhere.
Looks like some social engineering and Milei being too stupid to understand “crypto” got him caught up in this mess.
