I need to figure out my schedule better. Right now I can work about 4h a day (except wednesdays when we get groceries, and weekends), cook 1-2 times per day, do one bonus chore (usually laundry), and dishes.
If I could somehow slip couple more hours into the evening, I could work better....but I am still at the stage where I try to figure out how to also add exercise at least once or twice per week.
Being disabled really is a full time job...especially when your days come in 2 parts.

Changing lifestyle (mainly focusing on calorie counting, eating better with having veggies on every meal, increasing protein intake, and keeping up with the dishes daily) and weight loss is going as planned.
If everything continues to go as I hope (despite a friend's b'day coming up and that meaning hearty amounts of food) I should be under 90kg in the bext weigh-in.
Also my arm muscles are clearly bigger and I haven't even re-started lifting yet! That'll be next in line. (:

I had my blood drawn today and the (really, really) old woman nurse was 1. Not masked and 2. Complimented how I smelled like.
Not first time having unsafe situation with a nurse who wont mask - but very much first time being complimented for how I smell like, especially after I had just sweated a whole fountain of condencation and rain mixed liquid salt because I walked there.
I don't know if this was a "passing" moment or not. But it was weird.

I also already have bad health outcomes from covid btw. Chronic ear pain in left ear, and occational excruciating pain in the right that takes away my balance.
It has also hurt my partner who has mild LC, gets exhausted easier and has a chronic cough now.
I feel like taking covid seriously should be something doctors should be doing, before giving people generic advice for healthy life.
I'm doing my best, bub.

Today I was forced to go to a doctor's appointment that could have been done remotely. All the doctor did was take information, which I could have filled online, took my blood pressure I could have measured at home, and my weight which I told them accurately because, again, I have a scale at home.
All the other tests they'd normally do I had done within past 6 months so the doc did not do them again. Like I said they wouldn't need to.
How is this not hazing trans people?

I had awful night. Stress not only game me anxiety palpatations, but my body also did sleep jerks that prevented me from falling asleep.
And when I say "sleep jerks" I mean I twitched so hard my whole body moved as my arm, leg, neck, back muscle or any other random part of me moved like a stroking anaconda, just as I was finally starting to dream.
It was probably closer to 100 twitches in couple hours.... One of the worst sleep jerk nights I have ever had. (=_=)*

I don't get why people like Summer.
All I get is burning skin, battle against heat exhaustion, and inability to do most things just because it is so hot.
Like, I have been allowed to start lifting weights now again, but because it is too hot I can't do it without getting heat exhausted and possibly acquire a heat stroke.
Even doing dishes put me to the danger edge.
How is anyone supposed to enjoy this weather?

I had extrememy exhausting day having my bloodtests taken (wait was rough on my partner), and then doing grocery shopping, and then cleaning everything up (including ourselves and my wounds), and changing the surgical tapes again.
In good news my cuts have closed up fully again from the inflamed spot and the antibiotics are biting.
Bad news is my legs hurt like *#@&* and the antibiotics didn't fix my ears so the issue is indeed structural. Thanks covid.

Usually I say "don't do what I just did" but this time I an proud to ask everyone who just had a top surgery to be just like me - if your wound suddenly oozes puss, call healthcare provider and get to ER for antibiotics ASAP. When caught early, there wont likely be any issues with healing and they can remove any unmelted stitches as you go. <3
I am okay, newly bandaged, unstitched, and medicated and getting good after care -and still very much on my sickleave.

Only one week more of wearing this hellish vest, though I will keep it off during Eurovision's second semifinals again just so I get a moment to breathe.
Healing is going according to plan, though one single stitch refuses to melt and we hope it'll do what it is supposed to do during this last week so my partner doesn't need to cut it off. (^_^)*

I wore a shirt against my bare chest for the first time and the lack of dysphoria staggered me. It felt strange but also like I had arrived home. The level of comfort was alien, but my skin no longer felt like an enemy I have to fight every second of my existance.
Putting the vest back on to reduce swelling was like putting on a little cage...but at least I know I get that one off entirely after 3 more weeks of healing.

The most #ADHD thing I ever did was then I took out the trashes in mid winter.
I literally skipped down the stairs of the apartment building I lived in without noticing that I did not have keys or shoes on. Dropped my trashes. Walked back to the back door, and tried to yank it open. Not just once, mind you. At least 3 times.
So I RAN to my friend's place in a light blizzard, dressed in my loose t-shirt and sweatpants, to get my spare key and spare shoes.
I was undiagnosed for a long time.

I would join a group in facebook for endometriosis, but all of them have names like "endometriosis sisters "WOMEN with endometriosis" or pictures that indicate very feminine space, which makes me very nervous to ask to join as non-binary (and masculine) person.

For those who don't know - my vivid, insane dreams, hallucinations, and other symptoms from my sleep disorder are not caused by any medication I am taking. These symptoms have carried out from my childhood, an era when I wouldn't even take D vitamin pills because I took my naps outside in the sun.
I am not taking extra melatonin either, because I don't need help falling asleep. Dreams come to me in the instant I close my eyes. These are in-bult things.

"Out of sight, out of mind" is so unfortunste aspect of ADHD because life has so many aspects that can't be kept in sight all the time.
People, projects, tasks, ideas, hobbies, plans, items you shouls buy from grocery store, all go ln the same equal list of "If I can't see it RIGHT NOW, I am physically unable to remember it exists."
It isn't malicious. Or a sign of not caring.
It is brain unable to work neurotypically.

We did have a parcel delivery spot near by, but as R-Kiosk (a finnish convinience kiosk brand) started to die out, they started removing kiosks from less profitable spots (their issue was high prices, which they refused to drop). Most bigger kiosks also had a postal delivery cabinets to grab your stuff from within about 5 days.
But as the close by kiosk moved, they took the option with them...so I opted for home delivery, despite the partial invonvinience.

I mean, let's do some "tracker math" here.
Package left at 6AM (I feel sorry for those ho had to work overnight sorting packages already) from Vantaa. I live about 2 hours away, depending from driving speed, weather (yes, ice and snow), driver, and other stuff.
Yet package could arrive at four pm.
Math ain't mathing.
I will spend the day in wating mode and a headache.

I miss when packages took like a week to arrive and there was no overnight postage nonsense (unless you paid a lot for it). Now it is industry standard and I need to be ready to get my package the next day, like...I need at least few buffer days to prepare emotionally.
Also the tracking system is not great and telling me it can come between 8-16 is NOT HELPFUL.
I an up at 8 only in case it arrives now.

I have never had one so good to have someone vouch for it. :P My computers have been, in order: acer laptop that set on fire (by accident, the motherboard fried), tiny samsung taptop, and this fujitsu PC. Partner has had a Vaio laptop and Acer laptop. This tabletop stuff is kinda new to us still.

Unfortunately my PC resists change and it doesn't make sense to try to update more of its guts just to have a somewhat working computer.
So, despite a brave attempt, I will need to invest in a new tabletop soon. It'll be a part-payment one but according to a new internet friend, it will be much better and help me up my game. (:
(As in, it should be able to run games, and game dev stuff, and be reliable companion in art)

What beast did you beat today?
I managed to do cleaning in 2 parts, (nap in between) but now I am all spent and staring at my tabletop PC like it is exhausting monster.
I will attempt to slay him (and put him back together) tomorrow. Today's allotted mana has been drained.
(Respectfully - floors are clean via hoover and mopping, dust has settled to wait another day, cats have nice, fresh bathroom(s), and human loo is also sparkly.)

It is so weird how many parents have adopted this mindset that it is normal that your kids keep constantly bringing in sicknesses from kindergarden and school.
No, it is not normal that parents let their sick kids to come to these spaces to infect your kids. It is not normal that measels, rubella, covid, flu, infuluenza, and foot-mouth-and-hand disease are now common.
When I was a kid, I barely ever got sick - because parents would keep sick kids AT HOME.

I suffer from hallucinations when I am going to sleep, and when I wake up. They can be auditory, visual, tactile, or even smells.
So imagine the horror of waking from a dream and hearing this...eerie humming/singing echoing all around me. Straight from a horror movie.
And. It. Doesn't. Stop.
Waited about 20min, thinking I had lost it, before getting up and asking my partner if can they hear it too.
Thank Elders they could because FUCK ME it sounds haunting.

I don't have the bandwith to hear anyone say "post pandemic" anymore. If I am watching/listening to a youtube video that I otherwise enjoyed and then the creator offhand mentions "post pandemic", I click off.
I am done.
As someone who masks, takes precautions, and tries really hard not to become more disabled...it is exhausting and damaging to hear.
Please recommend youtubers who are up-to-date with covid info, I need new people to listen to while I work.

Dear medical providers - it is a viable option to make your call system human friendly. It does NOT need to feel like pure torture.
You could pick a nice song. You could NOT repeat same spoken message every 20 seconds after pure silence for infinity of time until person caves in to have you call them back despite it being the most grating and emotionally damaging thing possible thing you could do because it now kicks in a waiting mode anyway.

I cooked another vegetarian meal - roasted red bell peppers (also known as paprica), garlic, rucola, feta pasta salad(?).
Now there is just one question for the #Americans out there...how is ROASTED PEPPERS COOKING 101??

I was recently hit with some heavy platitudes that were meant to be "nice and uplifting" but ended up minimizing my struggle as someone whose life has been on survival mode for decades. Life with disability is not comparable to those lives that are unburdened by it, and you can't definitely say "Everyone struggles with that" when 1. they don't and 2. if they do, not ALL THE TIME, FOR LIFETIMES.

My survival game will have so many aspects that I personally like that I know at least specific kind of goblins are going to love it.
It will be embodying farming, basebuilding, pets, cozy survival, solarpunk, engaging story you can progress at your own pace, survival tecniques that actually teach things like weaving and cooking over open fire, and more.
I know it is just a script at the moment, but man I already love it. (:
