Oui, clairement. Ça m'a coûté 30€, car j'ai du envoyé une petite boite aux Pays-Bas avec suivi. La procédure est assez flou, pas mal de vérifications avec formulaire, un PDF avec code barre à imprimer et à joindre dans la boite retour, mais quelques emails rare mais rassurant de confirmation ici et là.

Unfortunately, for the self publishing books 100% made with FLOSS, that was the only company/solution I found long time ago, before that was so problematic (the Brexit put a lot of tax on the UK print pod). I might need to look for a EU print-on-demand solution soon.

Esp. as a catch phrase for Ryan George's Pitch Meetings series on the Screen Rant channel, a Canadian writer and actor/comedian. Maybe it's a Canadian expression?

It's not often that I paint directly from scratch with no sketch or line art, so I wanted to share this one. It's a risky technique, and I'm even eyeballing all the perspective, no grids here. I also avoid blending and smoothing, showing the brushstrokes on the canvas more clearly. I'm doing this to incorporate 'errors made naturally by humans', and I like it. It feels closer to the spontaneous style I like in my ballpoint pen sketches.

That's very nice to propose, thank you very much; but I think I'll be super fast for the Bash/Packing as CBR or EPUB; the real work will be how to manage the covers, creative commons notice, attribution, then the Website frontend to distribute them and make them easy to find. I just need to brainstorm about it to have clear vision of what it should be; the technical path to accomplish it will be solved quickly once I'm out of the blurry vision I have right now.

En tout cas, depuis mon article sur Debian 12 X11 Plasma5 tout l'écosystème Krita/Plasma/Wayland/libinput/etc a fait des bons de géants.
Mais mon système Debian, quel monstre de stabilité en production! j'ai jamais autant aimé une distro comme ça, et ça a été une aide dans mon année 2025 qui m'a donné la possibilité de faire mes BD hebdo et l'épisode 39. C'est si puissant et automatisable quand tout fonctionne! :debian: :blobcatheart:

Alors pour Wayland, c'est no-go pour moi tant que Krita tourne sous Xwayland et ne reçois pas de bug fix pour ce mode. Mais Krita 6.0 Wayland natif, c'est pour février. Je commencerai à étudier ça très prochainement.
Il y a aussi un standard imposé par Microsoft au noyau Linux qui a été une belle regression niveau tablette graphique non-wacom mais qui a un contournement par libinput (qui se retrouvera dans Plasma prochainement). J'attends ça pour ma XpPen 19 Artist Pro.

Yes, that's part of my plan and TODO, but nothing is done yet: I need to script it part of my update routine for the backend ( https://framagit.org/peppercarrot/tools/-/blob/master/update-all.sh?ref_type=heads ) , the challenge being to trigger the process only once monthly, version the ebooks with a YYYYMM pattern, and also find a way to split them into sub-books for the weight. There is also research for the format, compression. Then, the appearance, and page on the website to serve them. A big task!

Don't worry, "once that version of KDE makes it to Debian" is probably something for really later in the future, and Debian End Of Life of current versions is long enough to let you enjoy a X11+Plasma desktop for a long time if you want (while keeping all your app as Flatpak up to date on the top).
Krita 6.0 Wayland based should be released in february. When this will drop, plus some libinput feature that still needs to reach Plasma, I'll move and update this guide.

Yes, I had the same feeling when I saw a good video with the voice over of a Youtuber I follow; but then I realized all what appeared to me at first to be 'video stock' was in fact, AI gen videos.
I really feels like wasting the full thing each time. Not that it is technically bad in itself: but there is always this feeling of deception. Maybe because of the "lowest effort" from the creator, the "good enough" effect.

Check maybe what Framasoft deployed recently here : https://vert.framatoolbox.org/ , based on https://github.com/VERT-sh/VERT , but I don't think it has the resize, reorient features.
But, if I had this need myself, I would probably go with making a custom php in multiple page (an uploader > a ffmpeg setting page > a processing page > then a downloader ), using shell execution and ffmpeg directly . This way, you would control the accessibility, simplicity and ffmpeg options you expose.

Précision: ça n' importe dans Krita que les 'embouts' seulement de l'abr; la forme du pinceaux. Rien à propos de ses dynamiques, settings, et ce qui fait qu'un pinceaux à un comportement bien précis.

L'aspect émancipation des GAFAM et logiciels propriétaires, le plaisir de la débrouille avec une solution qu'on peu installer partout librement, la participation au projet, tout ça tout ça qui est la grande force de Krita sera sans doute un peu abstrait pour elle. Alors j'ai une mauvaise nouvelle: tu peux pas. Si le logiciel lui a tapé dans l’œil, si les influenceur⋅euse qu'elle regarde utilise ça, ne pas passer par ça risque de la frustrer et d’abîmer sa passion. Et elle a raison: il y a pleins d'autres fonctionnalités.
Mon conseil, est d'accompagner pour sauvegarder l'étincelle de création et l'envie de dessiner en premier.

Sympa, j'aurai aimé voir ça. J'avais un pote à la Fac qui avait tout plein de Fluide Glacial et c'est lui qui m'a sorti un peu le nez de mes manga. J'adorai l'humour (j'ai d’ailleurs craqué sur un numéro cette été en attendant à la gare en nostalgie et pas déçu, faudrait peut-être que je considère un abonnement si mes finance me le permette).
