De huidige airliners zullen niet zonder fossiele brandstoffen kunnen. Ik denk dat ze weer terug moeten naar lagere snelheden en elektrisch aangedreven propellers. Vooralsnog ontbreekt de motivatie, want ja, de kerosine is zo lekker goedkoop en belastingvrij.

De kleine "pretverbruikers" maken steeds meer gebruik van elektromotoren. Als we geen fossiele brandstoffen meer gebruiken is er niets op tegen.
Eens dat we moeten stoppen met fossiele brandstoffen. Voor de airliners (in de huidige vorm) onhaalbaar.

Zo'n ding gebruikt niet veel meer brandstof dan een motorfiets. Deze zijn het probleem niet. Of je moet ook motorfietsen enzo gaan verbieden.
