We entrust the police with the right to legally take away our freedom.
The second they breach that collective trust they should lose their ability to take away those freedoms. I don't care what the suspect has done, of if he 'deserved it'.
They aren't normal civilians; they don't get to have a 'moment of weakness' or an 'emotional flashpoint'.
They have to show unwavering restraint and respect for the position they've been granted in our society.

I should say that I absolutely adore #Bluey. This isn't a criticism of the show.
I saw someone on the Reddit say how the show made them want to be a parent. Because Bandit and Chilli are famously fantastic parents. They are.
However they're aided in their greatness because Bingo and Bluey are two of the most well behaved children I've ever seen.
And that's testament to great parenting, but it also not exactly representative of what being a parent truly is.

That #LeafsBruins game 7 was brutal, and I've seen a lot of brutal game 7s.
Is Reilly usually that slow, or was he just absolutely gassed from the long series? Did he not see the danger flying through the middle of the ice?
Whatever happened, the Leafs have once again fallen short in the first round, and once again it's at the hands of the Bruins.
Totally eff'd up my #NHLBracketChallenge however. The only round I didn't get right. Cheers Pasta.

Can't imagine the last 6 years have gone the way #ToddReirden had expected them to go.
Wins cup. Gets promoted to head coach. Two disappointing seasons later and he's canned. Goes back to his old team. Three seasons later gets canned from a lesser role.
Almost wonder if he regrets taking the head coaching job in DC. That team was on the way down and it was kind of a lose lose situation.

Well. That sucked.
We knew going in that the #AllCaps were likely the worst team to make the 'Loffs. And yeah, they were.
The run to the playoffs was fun I guess? Ovechkin came alive, and we saw some good stuff from the younger guys whilst also getting rid of some tired contracts and guys who didn't need to be here anymore.
Can't shake the feeling that it was all for naught and totally tanking would have been more beneficial..

My experience of #NHLPlayoffs hockey tells me that there's no harder team to beat than a team facing elimination. I do not agree with this..
However, if Washington could somehow find it in themselves to put up something of a fight it'd make the last week feel slightly less... fruitless.

I've seen a lot of talk about how the #AllCaps should never be in the #NHLPlayoffs because, well they're just not good enough.
So I won't lie..the idea that both Tampa and New York could be eliminated before Washington is makes me smile a tiny little smile.
It's not about who's 'better'. And after an 82 game season, if you can't find a way to overcome the rotting corpse of the Washington Capitals...are you really so certain you're even the better team?

I obviously didn't grow up with him calling the games (because I wasn't watching), but I did enjoy his games on the rare occasions I got to listen to them. An absolute icon of the sport for sure.

After finally getting through the frustrating purchase process, I got confirmation of my order going through only for my bank to immediately flag it up as a suspicious purchase.
I immediately responded that it was me and they said the card was unblocked....but now I'm not sure if the process is going to go through or not.

Just rewatched the final 20 minutes of the #Succession finale and whilst everything you see on screen is absolutely incredible, I think we need to take a moment to appreciate the music that accompanies it.
Nicholas Brittell absolutely knocked it out of the park with the final acts music.

I feel like last night's episode of #Succession puts to bed any idea that Kendall is going to have some sort of redemption arc. He had chance after chance to do the right thing, and each time he flubbed it.
