Why not both options?
Ideas what that means:
By promoting a follower to a friend you get notified when a friends posts a note. That would help to stay closer connected, like real friends.
Or maybe friends are just defined automatically by profiles you follow and they actually follow back.
If you could filter out notes from profiles not following you back you could focus your attention on friends only. That might help to have more replies and deeper conversations, like with real friends.

I did lots of research what wallet I should migrate to after the @nprofile…z6tv shutdown announcement, the last couple of days.
According to my own liddle poll some nostriches prefer @nprofile…7kkz others @nprofile…lktc. I am running both wallets as a backup already, but I wanted some of the other features that made Muntiny so unique and kind of cool.
Seeing Tony Giorgio, former CEO of mutiny praising Fedi the "new super app" convinced me to give it a try!

I used the nos2x extension to login and sign events within the Kiwi browser on my android phone. Could be also because my mobile connection is to slow and the unfollow process requires more time before hitting the button again.
I had this kind of loading issue while speed zapping back in the early Nostr days of #zapathon

Great Tool! Just tried to unfollow all the inactive npubs I was following. Didn't work out completely. But I managed to come down from approx 1000 Nostriches to 880.
I think, if all the unfollow clicks would have worked, I would probably just follow approx 500 active profiles 🥺

Na weil 21 die Hälfte von 42 ist, die Antwort nach dem Leben, dem Universum und allem. ☄️
Ja, aber warum dann nur die Hälfte? 1/2?
Dazu ein kleines Beispiel:
Wir nehmen ein Blatt Papier und stellen uns vor, wir könnten dieses Blatt beliebig oft falten. Jedes Mal, wenn wir es falten, verdoppelt sich die Dicke.
Wie oft müssten wir es falten, bis das Blatt so dick ist, dass es zum Mond reicht?
Die Antwort: 42-mal.
Denn nach 42-mal falten hat man 2hoch42 Lagen Papier, das sind ausgerechnet 4.398.046.511.104 Lagen. Wenn man diese Zahl mit 0,1 mm multipliziert, erhält man als Dicke des 42-mal gefalteten Papiers 439.804 km!
Damit kommen wir locker bis zum Mond 🎑
Intuitiv würden wir niemals auf das Ergebnis kommen – wir würden von einer viel größeren Zahl ausgehen. Insbesondere, wenn wir uns ein Blatt Papier ansehen und an die Entfernung zum Mond denken.
Übrigens ein Blatt Papier 103 Mal in der Hälfte zu falten, ist unmöglich!
Aber angenommen, es ginge doch, man hätte das nächste Problem. Und zwar ein gigantisches:

True, but what do you think about following workflow to convert kyc into no-kyc #Bitcoin , e.g. just in case of another Executive Order 6102!
1. Move all BTC to a new address.
2. Do a Coinjoin with Wasabi.
3. Withdraw using non-KYC exchangers.
@npub1yul…ncdu, @npub1536…pswl or Robosat and other P2P marketplaces, are good options today, but if you’re thinking 10+ years, there may be many more options that don’t exist today 😉

What I am doing is, to be able to achieve such a goal, I think of anything what is holding me back from just doing it?
If I would overcome the single issue holding me back today, would I be able to accomplish my goal tomorrow?
Is it really just money holding you back from doing what you are dreaming of or is there anything else?
Just saying, sometimes it turns out that money was just an easy excuse for not being focused on executing the main goal.

By the way, I think a proper long note would have worked here as well. Personally, I definitely prefer long notes over threads to read.
What's the benefit of having this content in a thread?
Is there some engagement on the child notes that couldn't be done on the parent note otherwise? Maybe some Nostriches do not engage easy with long notes?
Anyway, a thread initially was just a workaround required in legacy social media due to character limitations and the way algos worked.
Although, I might see the benefit if there is additional engagement triggerd on the child notes.

I love my new daily stoic routine 🌄
Today, I am celeberating my 50 day streak doing 100 push ups. Total of 5000 time. 🔥
Usually, I do 3 sets one of 30 around breakfast, 30 after lunch, and 40 before dinner. Sometime, I do variations with sets up to 50 in a row. I couldn't do that before.
At this point I am quite sure that I will keep doing push ups beyond the 100k #Bitcoin goal, probably even forever at least until the end of my death clock ⏰💀
