@npub19jm…30n3 I still have composite to 3.5mm jack somewhere, I used when I was daily driving Motorola ZN5.
The fact that this cable does make a perfect sense is a comedy to me, just the time when devices had a dedicated TV-out DAC... and also that (thankfully?) nobody have to do this anymore in a consumer device.

The interesting part of published Elbrus glibc code is that they fixed a lot of stuff for mptr128 mode, where the pointer is consists of three parts: size, offset and address, which by itself gives some complications when such pointers are converted to (u)intptr_t and back. Can't imagine how tedious it was, but they have mptr128 glibc port for a while now.
Also, the weird part is how they imported the whole math library from Sun's libc. Not sure why though.

Despite I don't really like Elbrus that much and don't work for MCST, I'm trying to back up everything they publish.
Why? There were precedents of them and their partners to "accidentally" publishing various source codes, patches and binaries and then silently removing them.
"Internet never forgets" is a myth and some things useful for reverse-engineering and documenting this obscure platform might've been already lost forever. Archiving it is a lot of manual work to do and I'm willing to do that but nothing more.

Though, there are few caveats:
* They didn't managed to rebase it on linux-stable at least, and there are no separate patches. Typical vendor behavior lol. I told them it ain't good.
* There is still no crosscompiler to build it with.
