I don't see why you would use Fedimint when you can use Mercurylayer+LSP and have it be actually non-custodial? You'll get the exact same experience from a users point of view.

Is the only thing we need to scale bitcoin Mercurylayer and Lightning? I think we might get very close.
Mercurylayer gives us non-custodial off-chain transfers within the statechain. Lightning gives us a way to do payments outside of the statechain via one or several "internal" LSPs.
This is basically Wallet of Satoshi but non-custodial.
This is basically Fedimint without having to trust a federation.
Someone, please build this. NOW!

I've sadly come to the realization that most Nostr apps are very janky on non-chromium based browsers.
It's ironic, because Chrome is not what we should promote in the community.
The overall quality of apps needs to improve dramatically.

Checking the console it looked like Safari dropped it's WebSocket connections at some point 😭

For audio, I used the Røde Wireless II Go. Somewhat expensive but I'm convinced there are cheaper alternatives out there that will give you a greater bang for the buck.

For me I think it’s improved DX - we’ll probably see some of the syntax change a bit (for the better).
They are aware of it but the focus is on the web, I don’t think there will be any specific integration with Tauri, but at the same time it’ll be just as easy in v5 as in v4.
I think one interesting avenue to explore is a custom adapter for SvelteKit that outputs something that works well with Tauri. I’m not super familiar with Tauri so I don’t really know what that would look like

I've been using nostr-dev-kit from @npub1l2v…ajft and I'ts been working pretty well for me. Not using nip-07 though since I'm mostly just fetching data on the backend. I'm working on a blog post as we speak, will post when it's done 🥳

It should re-render if naddr changes but it can depend on how you've used it inside List. It sounds like you might be making a mistake inside the List component. Here's an example I whipped up real quick: https://svelte.dev/repl/8f554eb6d505436f85c27203021ae1b3?version=4.0.5
If you look at List.svelte you'll notice that I've got two different ways of getting notes. One using the { notes } = naddr syntax and the other using the reactivity $: syntax. The reason the first one doesn't work is because *the script tag only runs once* when the component is mounted. Then it never runs again. Key works because it completely destroys the component and re-mounts it. Hopefully that sheds some clarity on the situation :)
If you can link me some code I can probably take a closer look 🤘
