Gonna try Bolt 12 soon. I've got Sats to move from Ocean mining to my hub. I've been waiting for this update for many months now!

Your conversation on Podcasting 2.0 reminded me of this, @npub1rcn…dw4h :

Hoping to install one of these alongside my Bitcoin Knots node on my home Mac 'server', but I was hoping to use one of the Bolt12 cores. Anyone know how that works?
How do you pick which Lightning core (of the like 6?), or switch cores?

Maybe enough human intervention can 'keep it on the rails', similar to how little bits of 'success' have been claimed in origins of life research (ie. they cheated!). But, IMO, that will further emphasize it isn't the AI really doing it, but human intelligence further crafting a tool.

I disagree w/ grok summary, though it reflects consensus assumptions on the subject (which, IMO, are wrong). :)
I'm not aware of any biological advancement example... it is assumed within naturalism worldview. The info is already there, then adaption takes place (degradation, sometimes in helpful ways... like tossing the seats out of a car to make it go faster).
The LLMs slurped up human created info, then it seems to degrade w/o human intervention & guidance.

Didn't hear the show (N.A.) yet, but heard Dave on P2.0.
I don't know enough about AI, but unless they pull off an actual form of intelligence (which LLMs aren't), I think the analogy (to evolution, for example) would work. Systems degrade unless (real) intelligence is applied.
This is why Darwinian evolution is a fail, and seems that is the degradation going on here. (Notice the words... curated, filtering, etc.) And, the models have no idea what 'flawed' is to begin with.
