I pulled the nodes out for the non-dismissable banner and then grabbed the before and after HTML. An online diff show the changes, or remediations, were minimal.
Moved the `<base>`, added whitespace, 3 contrast ‘fixes’, and suppressing Cloudflare cookie consents and errors.

The banner introduces WCAG violations, per axe. Though a user should never see the banner.
But I wondered what went from an opaque score of 73% to 100%, or which 3–6 issues were fixed.
Sadly, the banner dismiss button didn’t work. Either way, I saw no change (contrast was false positive).

Only partly through this, but quick signals you should be wary:
• conflates Deque’s marketing claim of issues with WCAG SCs;
• has a rule for dynamic `aria-label`;
• promotes labeling *all* landmarks;
• no outbound references (like how to use a SR, spec refs, etc.)
• no way to leave comments.
My concern is that automating only works if you encode the right rules.

Links need more than just a color change to distinguish them.
If your solution is `font-weight: 500`, don’t be surprised when you get dinged for 1.4.1 Use of Color.

I find it frustrating that I can record the read-aloud TTS audio in Android’s screen recording feature, but still cannot record the TalkBack TTS audio using that same feature. Been broken since Android 11 with no signal it will get fixed (currently on Android 16).

@nprofile…ec55 I would not use that method. The `aria-label` cannot be guaranteed to auto-translate for users who may need the content in their own language.
It also obfuscates the text string for those who want to select / copy it and the surrounding text, as well as those who may want to download the image.
The font is a really neat idea. But once you factor in user overrides (fonts, spacing, sizing, zooming), it seems best suited for print use or very targeted audiences.

I spent enough time building e-commerce platforms to know US ZIP codes do not guarantee a city, county, and state (nor are they guaranteed unique to the US).

Yeah, CSUNATC may have jumped the shark for me.
I see AudioEye has a “Showcase Suite” with (at least) 5 sessions. So does Level Access (UserWay).
Maybe I should pull a Deque from a few years ago and stay at the hotel but not attend.

I just realized AudioEye is giving a session at CSUNATC.
I have seen dwindling return on investment for the talks for some time now (sales pitches), but wow does that move the needle for me.
But CSUNATC platforming overlay vendors is … well, not surprising, frankly.
