they WERE accessible via mobile or PC for years! Then they started pairing the features back around 5 years ago. Till we have what we have now.

Beat Nightmare on Elm Street on the NES yesterday. Pretty straight forward game but it seemed pretty lazy with the repeat assets and bosses. Once you get the Dream Warrior power up the game gets way easier. And Freddy at the end was a breeze compared to the boss rush prior.

Really wished more people can over from Vintage Retro Game Club. I talked to a few people from there in the final days. It was the ONLY form of social media they used. Mainly because it was easy to access and they were on their Xbox anyway. I still keep in touch with RetroGameGeek from time to time too.

Been thinking some about this question today.
-The Lunar Series
-Shining Series (Shining the Holy Ark, Shining in the Darkness, Shining Wisdom)
-Super Mario RPG/Paper Mario series
-Alundra 1 and 2

They are all very different style of RPG.
Landstalker is a isometric ARPG.
LadyStalker is a isometric SRPG
Dark Savior is a isometric fighting RPG with multiple endings.
Time Stalkers is a isometric JRPG with pokemon style elements.

Evidently if you guys are planning on getting Castlevania Belmonts Revenge, don't get it on Switch or Switch 2. It runs in the sub 30FPS and has all kinds of pairing back to the visuals. This is crazy. It's a 2D platformer. No reason for it to run this poorly on the Switch.

I have enjoyed the Climax series of games. Though not directly connected (sorta) it's in the same universe.
LandStalker (Genesis)
Dark Savior (Saturn)
Lady Stalker (SNES)
Time Stalkers (Dreamcast)
Besides that maybe the Enix Trilogy?
Soul Blazer
Illusion of Gaia
Terranigma

I have read that too but that was a few days ago. But with it going directly into Gamepass I expected most of the people to play it there. This also attributes to the time played. So many people have nothing to lose by giving it a shot and playing it for less than a few hours.
Halo Infinite, Forza and Halo CE have similar issues. Gamepass is a gift and a curse.

I respect your opinion but the facts are that they had 3.2 million players since last week. The second largest Xbox launch this year next to Forza Horizon 6s 5.7 million.
Sales no longer matter. With over 2 million of the 3.2 playing on Gamepass. Myself included. I'm just over an hour in and blown away. I haven't seen all the "wokeness" I keep hearing about but the game already has give me 2 "HOLY SHIT" moments.

Got this on Saturday. Loved playing it as a kid and playing part 1 on Antstream. Been at it all day and can't get past level 4. The auto scrolling one with the Kracken chasing you. Any pointers for those who beat it?

The Game Gear version is almost identical to this one. Great game and has a different vibe than Castlevania but still very much a rip off.

Watched some of [@Oregon_Pacifist](https://retro-gaiden.com/@Oregon_Pacifist ) stream last night. Looks like Castlevania 64 and Legacy of Darkness only share the same assets. Other than that its a completely different game. Like LoD is a ROM Hack of Castlevania 64.

The momentum is different for sure but not horrible. The art style of 4 also put alot of people off since it wasn't 16 bit looking. I personally think 4 looks great and feels like a natural progression of the series.

Was bored the other day and started browsing my digital library of games and decided to play Sonic 4: Episode 2. I was told for years it was crap. They lied to me. Chances are they lied to you too. It's a fantastic game. Too bad it was delisted. It also is backwards compatible with Xbox Series X and S. Makes it look extra sharp.

If anyone is interested in getting a Retro Stage, they have opened up pre-orders for the United States again. If you're unfamiliar with what a Retro Stage is, it is a device where you can load any game to a specialized cartridge to play on real hardware. You just provide the ROM that you totally own. They also offer a ROM dumper to put your games on PC.
Systems they support:
-NES
-SNES
-Genesis/32X
-Game Gear
-GameBoy
-Nintendo 64
-Gameboy Advance

Recently got on WhatNot to see what they have for retro games. On one hand they have some real rare stuff. On the other they are asking WAY over price charting alot of the time.
Or it's 99% slop. 17 copies of SMB for $40 a piece loose, beat up. Or $50 for a untested Daytona USA with no case, manual or inserts. You ask to see the disc and they say they don't have time for that.

-Halo 2
-Phantasy Star Online
-Unreal Championship
-Star Wars Battlefront
-Outrun 2 and
-Mech Assault
It's been great fun.
