So true! Being an early adopter comes with scars earned from hard lessons. Bitcoin humbles your hubris. Stay humble, stack sats. It's really that easy.

Nonsense... if a drummer is led by the spirit, triple bass pedal can simulate the march of a triumphant army baring down on enemy fortress... or something biblical like that.

I'm guessing ARK, but I hope not. I would think they understand the importance of supporting the devs, but they haven't made the same commitment as the others.

When you still question #Bitcoin  viability at this point, I’m immediately suspect that:
• You don’t understand Bitcoin
• You don’t understand money
• You don’t understand our financial system
• You don’t understand energy
• You don’t understand Austrian economics
• You don’t know the history of monetary system failures
• You’re independently wealthy and complacent about it
• You’re an insider that benefits from the Cantillon Effect
• You’re trying to pump your bags in other things
• You think Bitcoin is merely a speculative investment
Bitcoin is not an investment, it’s a paradigm shift in what hard money is and ought to be.
You will learn the truth the easy way or the hard way.

Pay attention Bitcoiners.
Look for the Universal Digital Payments Network (UDPN.io) that is trying to unify CBDCs across the world under a single global payment standard.
Only 'regulated' CBDCs and stablecoins will be permitted to transact on this network. While 'unregulated' public-chain cryptocurrencies like #Bitcoin will not be permitted.

#Bitcoin    energy usage is an easy punching bag because there is very little room for externalities between the energy usage and mining. It's a very straightforward process with no/few middlemen. The process is transparent so there are no
'unseen' costs.
However...this provides ammunition for those who want to turn this transparency into a negative instead of a positive over the energy usage itself.
Notice how these arguments never account for the current system. The behemoth of an apparatus that is slower and much more expensive but the externalities are vague and largely 'unseen'.
When you take into account what the entire global financial system at large costs in energy (the bank buildings, trucks, planes, vaults, personnel, servers, paper, plastic, etc...) and divide it by that single tx, there is no comparison, #Bitcoin    is much faster, cheaper, and more energy efficient than the current financial system by far. Especially with the Lightning Network.
All #Energy arguments against #Bitcoin    are disingenuous.
Bitcoin haters will always use this argument, be prepared with facts.
