These are some of the first flowers painted in this garden project.
Pickled during a walk on the beach, they take me back to my childhood.
As usual I don't know its name. :)

Starting a new painting.
This is the second time I paint tulips, this time I feel more confident. I'm happy.
It is an oil painting and it is in progress.
Who doesn't like tulips? :))

The name of this tree in Galician is sabugueiro.
But I don't know how to write it in English.
It is a small tree with flowers that give off a very strong smell.
The fruits are those black balls, I think its possible to make beer or a juice with it. I'm not sure, if you know tell me.
It is part of my childhood memories, just like embroidered bed sheets.

Thank you Natale :)
I took this flower from a garden near my house. There are many in my city, in public gardens.

Dried flowers that fall and eucalyptus that maintains its shape.
Detail of oil painting on canvas.
I love how the flowers look when they wither.

Last summer I participated in a group exhibition in which I showed the painting "Camellias de Beigondo".
In it we see the fresh flower and three stages of decomposition.
Since my beginning in painting I have incorporated embroidery, it is a link with my embroiderer mother.
I can't separate painting from my life story.

First I paint the freshly picked flowers and let them dry. I also paint them withered.
I always like more the result of the withered still life. As in this case ;)
Beauty is in the change, isn't it?
