@nprofile…939n have a friend that works for one- not an iota of change since profits started rolling in. No improvement in already shorthanded staffing, no upgrades, no payouts to employees- execs are just eating it & fattening themselves up.
Sounds like they'll just use it for more mergers & acquisitions- not making anything better in their own orgs and still cry broke when it comes time to meet safety / compliance standards.

@nprofile…600e its funny to me that anyone would look at Rubio, who has spent the last decade killing himself inside, and says thats my kinda guy.
Must've been huge Reek fans in Game of Thrones.

-"no one should make fun of rich people's hair or pants, we're better than you"
-"whats the big deal with slavery anyway"

@nprofile…l70y have to love the very real number of 250 million in damages.
Maybe we find out Patel was one of the insider traders making bank on the speculation market & thats how he justifies that absurd figure.
FBI directors supposedly make 200kish? So just had to work there another half a millenium to get up around that 250million number.
That private jet though. Gosh that'll be hard to give up.

@nprofile…hc2k the next time some milquetoast Schumer-like politician says "we don't have the political will for ___" keep in mind these assholes dismantled the Forestry Service while starting the least popular war in history, while quashing news that Trump had his dick bit by a 13 year old he molested, while we're killing newborns on life support in Cuba, while they handed over media companies to cronies, while uprooting the 14th amendment, on and on. There's will for none of that.

@nprofile…3ycp either way you paint it, republicans are not good at governing the country & Trump is bad at being president. You know what didn't happen during Biden's admin- nationwide unrest. Quarterly massive protests attended by millions of pissed off regular people.
Government by shitpost is not going to win friends & favors.

@nprofile…jljv is there a country in the world that would do this to itself? Truly exceptional, nobody saws their own legs off with a rusty hacksaw like the US.

@nprofile…48vs just once before they print "radical left, marxist ideologies" they'd ask him or anyone that works for him to specify any example possible. Are we talking preschoolers learning to share?
I know they don't have an answer but it'd be nice if their bullshit didn't see print since they can't provide a credible answer.

@nprofile…vvfe suppose it was a lab leak (likely wasn't)
a) Trump & MAGA can't prove it and can't convince the world of it- they're bad at investigating things and not believable
B) it was on his watch- he cut within his own exec branch expertise, functions & individual jobs that would help mitigate such a scenario.
C) Mr. Buildthewall let it into the country- no flights stopped from China, cruise ships with infected people greeted by unqualified morons from his admin without PPE.

@nprofile…48vs even for citizens, and purposefully so by Republicans. Obama says we'll have debt forgiveness if you go into teaching, civil service, etc & then Trump rugpulls that promise. Why would anyone want to go work for the feds right now? You see it in orgs not even bothering to bid on oil rights bc by the time the next admin comes around who knows what the rules will be. It's chaotic evil, conservative it is not.

Count of accused pedophiles Trump has actively advocated for having an integral government job: 3? Gaetz, Roy Moore, George Nader. I might be missing someone.

@npub1lrv…tth9 on the bright side, he hates his job in the Senate, one less senator that's quiet quit. Also on the bright side, he gets to enjoy regular interactions with Trump, who he does not like, as well as world leaders telling him that Trump is an idiot and the US has lost its ever loving mind. Lots of discomfort in his future.
On the dim side, 80s teen movie villain DeSantis names his replacement and FL has no shortage of terrible people lined up for that job.

@npub1zle…38k8 I wonder what the average time between riot & indictment of the inciter of the riot is.
We already know every other person caught stealing top secret docs don't see the light of day until they're in a prison yard.
Somehow it's taken 4 years from "i just need you to find another 11800 votes" before a trial was even set.
Justice went 0 for 4 with a walk for the stormy trial.
Nevermind destruction of govmt documents while he was in office, emoluments, on and on. What a joke.
