This whole thing being a sim would explain a lot about instantaneous creation (rather than from a singularity of infinite mass and energy) and the huge amount of unaccounted for mass and energy (dark matter and energy) that we cannot observe but through its influence on the visible universe.
The only things I can think of that could account for endless expansion and the fact that we can’t see the edge of it using instruments using the electromagnetic spectrum, is that either it’s a sim, or it is both expanding and toroidal.

After thousands of hours of study and learning about what the fundamental problems are with our monetary and political systems, I’m still left with the question: How do we destroy this cleptocracy without achieving a critical mass of citizens who care enough to change it? It seems to me that things will have to get much worse and that way more people are going to have to feel a lot more pain and loss before any real change is possible.
I’ve provided the people around me that I care about with so many resources to help them learn everything they need to know about what’s going on with our money, why their purchasing power is diminished, and how to exit the system. That’s a whole lot of links sent and books shared that have largely gone unread. I’d say one in thirty of them actually “gets it”. He’s my best friend and a fellow deep thinker. And he still hasn’t managed to get off zero Sats because he doesn’t have any disposable income and has a highly skeptical spouse.
So here I am on Sunday night facing the prospect of going back to the fiat mine tomorrow to sell my time for pennies and work till about 2pm before any of it makes it into my own pocket, just to stave off insolvency. What a waste of potential.

Our friend Brenda passed away last week after a long bout with cardiac and respiratory complications stemming from the vax. She lost consciousness Sunday, fell to the floor and did not rise again. Agonal breathing and no reaction to pain stimuli while we were with her in emerg, and the sweet soul only hung in there on oxygen and some IV meds for about 48hours. She was 66 and a real hippy searcher. Always travelling and seeking new experiences. A nice lady. Her husband said she would have wanted him to give these to us, along with some other personal effects, so my wife got a little care package today. Rest in peace sister. See you on the other side. Had to cover everything up last night AGAIN as the overnight lows were to be close to freezing. Indeed when I woke up it was unseasonably cold. It’s such a balance between maximizing the already short growing season here and risking plant loss. Every year is a new education. It’s kind of cool after the adrenaline wears off to realize that you charged forward in the face of it. I’ve been full on attacked with no provocation by 2 different medium sized and 1 large breed dog in the past 10 years. Two of them did backflips and landed on their backs when my steel toe met their jaw. Bought me J ust enough time to get the F outta there. The most recent one, a big male Great Pyrenees, got it in the snout with my metal surveyors clipboard, which I was holding in both hands in front of me like a shield, all 6 times it came at me, fully friggin airborne. It really wanted to kill me. Time slowed down, but it was funny looking back on each incident. I remember just getting really mad, snapping into a stance, and reacting. The owners of the last one replaced the $120 hoody whose sleeve got partly ripped off when I sidestepped and the dog sailed past me and just caught my wrist with his teeth on the way by. Just barely broke the skin. I talked to the owner on the phone the next day because he called to suckhole me into not reporting it, and he admitted he got the whole incident on video from his security camera. Man I wish I could have had that footage. He said he could tell that I had some training, lol. I’ve since started carrying dog deterrent spray just in case. But these were interesting insights into what I did those 3 times when faced with fight or flight.

I usually spray the undersides of my tomotoes’ leaves with a very dilute solution of plain liquid dish soap. It kills aphids. But those holes look like that created by a caterpillar. I find I am also routinely having to prune all branches so no leaves are ever in direct contact with the ground, and remove up to a third of the non-contributing interior vegetation to encourage air movement and access for soap applications and dilute foliar feeding.

Everything is finally in. Woke up at 5:30 this morning and it was 32°F so I’m glad I brought all the tomatoes into the house for a couple days. But I think we’re in the clear this week. Garlic, Red Onions, Russet Burbank Potatoes, Sieglinde Potatoes, Red Cored Danver Carrots, Detroit Dark Red Beets, Red Bell Peppers, Wicked Ghost Peppers, Beefsteak Tomatoes, San Marzano Tomatoes, Spaghetti Squash, Table Queen Squash, Long English Cucumbers. First time trying Tomatoes in large nursery pots. I want to set them up under ridge poles and run vertical poles down to each plant to see if I can get the same 5-6’ tall plants I got last year. It’s a Canada wide issue now. Grew up in ON. Parents fled with us to BC in 86 because it was becoming a sham. Left BC in 2012 because I couldn’t break $55k and eventually even the jobs dried up. The last one I happened across ended up cohabitating in a large terrarium with our Leopard Gecko for a year. It was about 48hrs of random skirmishes to establish a balance of power, then by the end of a month they were actually curling up together to sleep. One got a regular diet of crickets. The other got baby mice. It was pretty cool. The snake would eat the molts from the gecko and vice versa.

All five beds, eight stackable potato towers and ten five gallon nursery pots ready for planting. A couple of nights below freezing forecast for this week, might get the seed potatoes in tomorrow and maybe garlic and onions but still have to wait for the rest. We’ve seen snow here as late as May 15. Gave the seedlings some real sun today and the digital thermometer on that bed was reading almost 108°F on account of the reflection off the house. I just wanted to have a place to point local people I talk to that need technical help with achieving self custody the right way. I haven’t met anyone up here that has even taken the first step. And being in oil country there’s definitely some opportunities to advance mining in a grid friendly way.

Recently pointed out to my boss that I’m effectively being paid 25-30% less than I was when I started building the systems his growing business runs on 4 years ago. I think I’m the only person working here that understands that. He rewarded me with a whopping 2.9%. It’s a fucking insult. All while I see him making massive capital purchases. I remember a few times as a kid seeing the sky actually turn green, being told by my parents to head for the cellar, and then later learning that a nearby town had been hit. We’d be out in the back yard and it was so windy you could put your jacket up like a sail, lean into the wind with your whole body weight and not fall over. The best part was when it saved you a whole Sunday’s worth of leaf raking because the wind direction was just right lol

Thanks for your reply. Yes this is the simplest way I know of, but I guess heirs are just going to have to do some reading and hopefully resist the temptation of trusting some random coiner to help them. A foresee a lot of people in the coming years sacrificing security and sharing keys with the wrong people rather than undergoing the discomfort of learning something about how exchanges even work and how to process and broadcast partially signed transactions without making an error and sending sats into the void.

Has anyone solved the problem of secure inheritance planning for Bitcoin for the multitude of hodlers whose heirs don’t possess the technical knowledge (or the motivation to acquire it) that would permit them to initiate on chain transactions using the PINS, hardware and seed plates that get left behind? I see a lot of coins disappearing into the void in the next 3 decades. And a demand for honest consultants that won’t rug people completely or siphon funds to a degree when they’re asked to help liquidate a late hodler’s stack, or at least a portion of it for final expenses. Every time I think about my eventual end, I picture that scene from 2001 a Space Odyssey where the apes are gathered around the monolith. That’ll be my family looking at my PC, phone, hardware wallets, SD card readers and seed plates when I die.
Much in the same way you can lead a horse to water but not make it drink, the motivation to learn the basics of interacting with Bitcoin must come from within.
