Do you have a reverse proxy in front of your Matrix homeserver, or are you sending traffic directly to it.
In my case, I'm using Caddy as a reverse proxy and its responsible for the "well-known" headers.
Here's what my config looks like, in case its of any help at all (sorry am on mobile right now):

Hello fediverse 👋
It's been a couple of years since I left conventional social media, and now I've finally got around to testing something better!
I'm currently living in the northwest of England, am into techy stuff, outdoor activities and like to get out and be social now and then.
In joining the fediverse, my hopes are to meet cool people doing interesting things and get back into the online social world a little more.
