2024-08-29 12:49:19 GMT

This kind of treatment is exactly why I started @redox_os from scratch and written primarily in Rust. There is a lot of resistance to even minor beneficial change in Linux and related projects. I don't even try to contribute to the Linux kernel anymore.

I grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. School taught us about heroes: Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr, the Tuskegee Airmen, George Washington Carver, and many others who lived in our state and changed history through their perseverance.
We were also taught about villains, the constant effort to maintain a society built on injustice where only one kind of people can be lifted up by the effort of all others.
Now, helped by school vouchers and "parental choice", the villains can erase this history.
