Last Notes npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Still reeling from the awesomeness of #NHAMFest26. So fantastic. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Booked a massage today for the first time in years. We get a fixed amount for stuff like physio/massage per year and periodically I’ll think “I should really drag my tired old body and go” but then I never do and then sometimes in a panic I’ll try to use up the year’s benefits in December but everyone’s always booked. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg did you do that with your weed flamethrower npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…4e7w Aw. Cheers. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Lord give me the confidence of a mediocre middle-aged white man. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Well, Aug.27 is time for a rare live show and/or quite possibly a live panic attack. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Fun Music npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Weirdest, awful sensation: npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg awesome npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm So many people out “jogging” just now. Such a waste of a beautiful morning. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm I know nothing about coding but yikes some of the folks in this thread. Comparing people opposed to a.i. to “anti-vaxxers” is certainly a take. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Hilarious that he’s going to put more tariffs on Canada because the smoke is blowing down there, as if this is not all a direct result of the toxic American fart cloud that’s been blowing up here for a hundred years. Anyway we don’t really care because we’ve gotten really good at not buying anything from there or ever travelling there. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg Thanks. So scary. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Half of the province is literally on fire and the Prime Minister is out there selling pipelines and scrapping environmental protections. We are unbelievably lucky to be out of the city this week which is simultaneously so nice and rather terrifying as everything is orange and smokey and very hot. I’m outside alternating with worrying and trying to brush up on my very rusty fingerpicking. Stay cool and safe everyone. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Sometimes even the most unlikely folks can become friends if they have something in common. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg For 7K you’d think they’d also fix your water heater. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg So sorry. That’s just mind-blowing to me. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm https://s3.us-east-005.backblazeb2.com/musicianstoday/media_attachments/files/116/870/056/799/374/464/original/c699c692a6a38c87.jpeg npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Please enjoy my new animated film: weird and just shy of 7 minutes, this took me weeks to shoot, draw, animate, edit and sing. It has my filthy fingerprints all over it; no art-stealing robots were involved. There’s some swearing. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Milk frothers of Mastodon: how do you get 2 decent looking lattes out of one milk jug? When I foam enough milk for 2 coffees, the first pour looks okay but the second always looks like ass. I guess the foam is thicker at the bottom of the jug so even if I’m swirling like crazy it’s sort of a mess by the 2nd pour. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Battlestar Sciatica npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Apocalypse NOW WHAT npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Here’s me in different sweaters doing this cover of a Depeche Mode song last year. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…rqq4 @nprofile…nekg I do! Send me those links! Yes! npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg @nprofile…rqq4 npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm I’ve had this synth for about 20 years now and I still don’t fully get how everything works. I need someone to come over and explain LFOs and Cutoff and Resonance to me like I’m a baby or more accurately a middle-aged man and I will give you the fermented beverage of your choice. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Does anyone put out singles anymore? npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…nekg npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm This was kind of a proof-of-concept test to see if I could make it even vaguely look like my 3 kids were riding one of our dogs. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Not a Support Notification npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm people at the church npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm https://s3.us-east-005.backblazeb2.com/musicianstoday/media_attachments/files/116/332/388/683/422/448/original/e94d69739438c4b1.jpeg npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm wow whoever did this must be so fucking cool and also a nice person npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm RIP Catherine O’Hara. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Today at the Y the guy at the shower beside me was whistling the song from Titanic. Like piercingly high, shrill whistling, bouncing off the tiles and into my brain. He was a good whistler, skilled even, but it was the volume and the context that was disturbing. Does anyone enjoy the sound of someone whistling, really? Don’t wanna harsh anyone’s fun, but loudly whistling the song that’s in your head feels a bit like an old-timey version of playing a song loudly on your phone speaker. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…0nz2 @nprofile…mj9a npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm If you can, please join me on Saturday for a rare solo live stream in which I hopefully perform some songs and quite possibly, as ever, a live panic attack. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Short little synth ’n’ guitar instrumental tune I did to accompany a video I made of my swimming dog, Bird. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Radio Free Fedi is gettin’ the band back together! I’m gonna do another stream as part of this month-long RFF love fest with many other awesome folks. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…fn2v Haha yes! And doing jobs for friends/family is tough. Stuff I do for free or cheap is always so much more work and back-and-forth. “IT’S AMAZING THANKS SO MUCH can we just change this one more thing…” npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Boy I hate quoting for video jobs. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…x8nv Totally did not know this was a thing. Going to check it out. Thanks! npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Please check out my kid George’s AMAZING, brand new single called Vermont. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Well…could be better, could be a lot worse. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Unauthorized cover for a gloomy monday: Here’s me in different sweaters doing a Depeche Mode tune. Done mostly on a filthy old cigarette-burned, masking taped organ I found on the road about 15 years ago. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Dirty little protest song abourt DoFo. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm De-Americanizing, a work-in-progress: npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Oh boy I made the mistake of watching about 10 minutes of the news for the first time in months and now I will never get to sleep. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm @nprofile…fn2v yup npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Blockin’ racist apologists. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Any suggestions for Canadian or at least non-USA domain registrars? I’m on Namecheap which has been fine for years but I want to transfer all my .com domains away from US…also they’re pricing isn’t great after the initial cheap first year, and now they’re pitching me AI services which is a big nope. npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm In honour of Paul McCartney calling on UK government to protect artists from AI, npub12g7exee6z5tacvue24r3xzvpqgcllpfuf07yyyzz4asmh0kcvrds6xu044 bgm Video for my song Allergy Boy.
