@nprofile…pfuj shutter speeds were so long back then that waiting until you were dead was a great way to ensure a sharp photo.
Dead people are less prone to move during the rare circumstance of posing for a photographer. 😵

@nprofile…5cha I’ve had a partial too. The result was transformative. My hospital visit was horrible only because my level of pain going in. The drugs helped though, I was able to walk again before my surgery!
Came away with a lot of physical homework. Feeling grateful for the relief from awful pain – I was happy to do. Muscles took a while to unlearn their overprotective spasm. Physiotherapy and pilates have been helpful.
Wishing you my luck Laura. Sciatic pain is the absolute worst!

Imagine if the money that continues to be burnt on this bullshit actually went directly towards disease research. You know, towards a real effort to cure diseases.

Like permitting the new worker to be placed into the position where an existing piece might otherwise be diagonally moved. Providing that worker is connected to the queen in the chain. Moving in unison along a trail.

@npub1eee…e209 @npub1nuj…9wkn I suppose even quality is ultimately subjective.
How you measure matters. If you measure it in terms of a product, designed to create an experience that draws value from a select group of consumers – I expect it is good. Especially for meta.

@npub1eee…e209 I reckon the “weird” space was an artifact of Marathon’s pseudo 3D rendering engine. Which is all the more fascinating.
It was used for effect in at least one of the official multiplayer maps, but not the campaign that I recall.
Did you ever use the map editor? It was finicky and crash prone, but you could make your own maps. The spaces in the game were drawn with vector like points. Creating overlapping spaces was quite tricky, but getting it to work was delightful!
