What do you reckon, is Prabowo going to cloud seed to try and break up the demo? We could do with some rain, it might be nice.

Mandiri is majority owned by Danantara, right? I wonder if other non-state owned banks would be able to freeze accounts like that

Do we know if it was in the public mempool, or if it was an out of band transaction directly sent to the miner? If so, who was the miner? Might be a bit of cute money laundering.

I would still find huge value from @nprofile…fg9w continuing to do the show.
I know he was expressing desire to step back a few months ago, so I get it if this was a good reason to finally do so.
After losing @nprofile…rzjs earlier this year, it's getting a bit bleak out there for the podcast space.

@nprofile…cuaj I don't know who the fuck you are but you are the best new follow I've had on nostr in ages. Keep up the great coverage of this coinkite debacle

Okay so sounds simple, so I wonder why Odell is recommending against it. Maybe for certain use cases it doesn't make sense (like small spending wallet), but for life savings it seems like worth the effort. Just following instructions, by the sound of it.

Are you high? bitcoin is working exactly as designed. Transaction ledger is immutable, value is being transmitted.
No one declared cash dead after a bank robbery.
Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

I've never tried the dice roll feature in the coldcard. Is it really that difficult to use? How would a user fuck it up?

Yeah its a bit of a shame, but certain podcasters still need to put their hand up and acknowledge their role in this. A bit of humility will go a long way

yeah the thing bothering me is the sloppiness and rushed approach to commits with such poor documentation. But I feel like people will go over everything with a fine toothed comb now and we will hopefully learn of any other potential exploits

Yeah I'm sort of feeling the same about the usefulness of the hardware wallet. I also generated my own entropy like a fucking psychopath, so my keys are still secure.
Has anyone written anything yet about possible shortcomings of the coldcards used as airgapped signing devices?
I'm assuming that people will be much more critically minded when it comes to reviewing the rest of the software, but I suppose it all depends who finds the vulnerability first. Maybe I just won't touch my wallet for a while to see what happens.

but even so, its insane. have a read through the website for more shitlib wokeslop.
