Codecademy and Mimo have a similar structure. When I’ve used them, I found it hard to come back regularly because much of learning code is longer form than basic sentences or dialogue which is often further down the line for Duolingo.

Agreed. As much as he may have shot himself in the foot, he didn’t back down from what his positions are.
Even in his Lex Fridman podcast, he was adamant about doing things a certain way regardless of how Lex felt about it. That has impact both ways.

One of the more difficult parts for me about #nostr and being active on nostr is the feeling of not contributing enough in a v4v environment amongst prolific devs, content creators and experts in different fields. To some extent, existing and participating in a different space is still valuable.
But there’s a difference and sometimes it feels like it’s really just worth engaging to the extent of zapping value and that’s it.
Thoreau has been forcing me to re-contemplate much. Apologies for the inconclusive rambling 😂

Work with younger guys pulling 6 days on heavy weights and it’s a learning process to not make it a competition.
The injury/ability to do the things I want part is huge. I don’t want to have let myself get to a place where I’m forced to be sedentary.

Working out, as a grown adult, has reminded me of the humility needed to grow.
When you’re young, you can blunt force, energy overload, all the time in the world things to their completion.
Now that I’m older, not as limber, more responsibilities, I can’t do that. I must adapt to doing things methodically, the right way, even if it’s a longer and less exciting.
Working out or being fit or strong is not the goal. The goal is subjugating my pride to becoming a closer version to the person I want to be.

Hey!
I was using getalby.com and I was logged into my wallet.
It was sub 100k sats but it would have been close to 99% of the balance. Prior to this, I was trying to send too much of the balance and I got the warning to reduce what I was sending. But when I got the gateway error, that didn’t happen. Just sat and loaded for a few minutes then brought up the error page.

I've been attempting to set up a single-boot Linux installation without relying on a USB drive, but I'm struggling to make it work. I think I'll go back to doing a USB install, as it seems like the most straightforward option. My goal is to have a Linux installation that isn't dependent on the USB (so it doesn't stop working when I remove the USB), but I'm not sure how to achieve that. Any advice?

I’ve got a 💩coin miner that I ordered somewhat at the peak of its existence, and by the time I received it, it was pointless to use.
This was years ago.
Now that I’m older and nerdier, I know have figured out that it may have a RPi in it…
So now I can try (for the first time ever messing with this sort of thing) to take this miner apart and repurpose it for something cool.
