Our IRL Bitcoin meeting this morning. Everyone here has set up a cold wallet, also gave everyone an in person zap to their Wallet of Satoshi to get them off zero.
@GMONEY
This was the meetup we spoke about on Friday.
We also got at least one new Nostrich out of this @ZT. If anyone feels generous, send her a zap!

Hard lessons are the only way. I battle with that fiat mindset every time I talk to people about Bitcoin. They can't let go of the fiat value.

When I start a lightning node, I'm quite keen to provide wallet function to people in my area with LNBits. Been looking at it seeing lots of possibilities. Also some potential for offline transactions

Give this dude a zap. He's been brave enough to take a risk developing new software on LN, so hopefully the community can get behind him.

Fresh, quality ingredients, and take the time to cook from scratch.
It may take your sense of taste a while to adjust, but after a few months of good, clean eating, processed food tastes terrible.

Too expensive to print. I have a $500 note somewhere that my uncle from Zim gave me in 2003. Then it was worth around 35 US cents.

Never got Graphene working on my Samsung, but had great success with Lineage. Just leave the Google apps package out on installation.
Gained a lot of speed and battery life.

#[0] here's my cleanup effort. I think this should become a weekly monthly thing in this community.
So, not the worst in terms of litter, but the before pic is after the local government has cleaned up.
This is a pretty important landmark on the Comrades Marathon route, so they make an effort for it to look clean.
Unfortunately they just put the trash behind the sign so you can't see it from the road. They also didn't bother with the small pieces.
All collected and removed on Tuesday. I'd have gone further up to the memorial wall, but I cut my hand pretty deep on some broken glass while emptying the bins.
Hope everyone can see which is before and after...

I use WoS for Nostr, and I won't add to it from my savings in cold storage. As far as I'm concerned, zaps are meant to be shared within the Nostr world. Maybe to buy something IRL if you get enough.
Although, if someone zapped me like 1M sats or more, I'd definitely move some off to my cold wallet.

Zap contest idea: Proof Of Workout
Upload a short clip or photo of yourself doing an exercise, then zap others who comment with proof of their workouts.
I'll do one next week when I'm at the gym. Anyone else like this idea?

I generally hate social media and the fake image it cultivates.
NOSTR is literally the only platform I genuinely like, so I'm going to make an effort to be active on here and connect with like minded people.
