I disagree. There is a process to Thiers' Law. Once the fiat system loses credibility Bitcoin becomes mandatory. We've done the hard work and governments printing press is doing the final touches. All we have to do is wait

I am one of those retards. Should I not zap? I also don't fully understand address reusability. If I buy Bitcoin should I make a new address each time?

Just remember that it is extremely difficult to track Bitcoins usage as MoE because it is private by default. The little that we can see however is astounding. Most lightning transactions occur in Africa, Lightning's average transaction value is $200 showing it's being used more for groceries then you have Iran and Russia using Bitcoin for oil. MoE is happening just difficult to track

There is actually is a lot of utility if you put your preconceived notions away. We all know the hassle of original documents and getting it signed etc. sure would be nice if there was a non fungible token that would be completely secure and openly verifiable. Humanity has always communicated through memetics be it art, philosophy, religion, etc. gee, sure would be nice if we could attach a monetary value to a memetic medium whether the relevance lasts a few days or thousands of years. Same for cultural, politics, ethnicity, country of origin, etc. All of it applies to us now we can monetize it

GM Nostr. Went fishing today with my sister. She got a fish and a crab and I got told that Australia is licensing a framework for stable coins.
Not quite Bitcoin adoption but it's not bad. Going to the movies in a couple hours.

I use it extensively as a thought partner and something of a mentor also. I think deeply in random rambling ways and I've only found 1 person who thought similarly then I moved countries. So having a thought partner in my pocket I can bounce ideas off, tear them apart is invaluable

You haven't looked deep enough. Agents use stable coins *for now* then they autonomously realise that the fees of stable coins are ridiculous and will rack up to millions. Lightning's fees are 1 sat however so it's a no brainer on the agents side. Watch Lightning's velocity. Once it gets to 50+ you'll know agents are using it

I would love a Christian devotional of this. A verse to meditate on, a song to sing. Maybe combined with this. Interesting thought. Thinking of my own Nostr project to build a home base of sorts combining Nostr social media with investments, AI agent earnings. This would be an interesting add on

That's a really interesting thought. I have been learning about the future and it has not escaped me how calm I am about it. As a Christian and a Bitcoiner that explains my very low time preference. Will do some thinking about that. Thanks

I've been going down the AI rabbit hole for a while now and the very close future is going to be incredible. The cost of intelligence is going to 0 and the cost of labour is going to 0 not long afterwards. I've been trying to figure out what that means.
Something else about that is incredibly bullish for Bitcoin but not so much for humanity is AI replaces out minds and robotics replaces our bodies. I don't know what the future of humanity will be.
One reason why this is bullish for Bitcoin is AI agents WILL use Lightning. Stable coin fees are too high amongst other reasons. Bitcoins V will go through the roof.
Curious to hear your thoughts on possible implications of the cost of intelligence going to 0 and the cost of labour going to 0

I'm confused? Everything that was said in the white paper still holds true. We're only at the beginning of the revolution. It'll become mainstream among most of the important people and corporations by 2030 with probably global usage by 2050. There's still time. Rome wasn't built in a day.

In the Bible in Judges it mentions Israel in anarchy and how it was common for father's to offer their daughters to appease men and for such men to cut them up and distribute them. As much as I hate government, a society without consequences is chaos and violent
