Literally for years, you saw "sometimes reasonable men have to do unreasonable things" with either pictures of marvin or the thing that he built, and some time in the last year that fell out of fashion, but specifically for these circles. The facts of the story were always out there, people had done their discussions and deep dives and so on- the story was known but somehow only *now*, after it's attracted more visibility do we see "errrm, no ackchually, he was a selfish boomer". Why does this happen? People see the message, "sometimes a reasonable man must do unreasonable things"- and they cannot separate that from background noise- the facts The Myth(tm) is grounded in.
