why not ctrl+L ls-la? I don't clear my terminal to _not_ use it with something else, but that shortcut is still faster than typing clear. Especially since the letters are all over the keyboard!

Happy to hear that works! Still using the flatpak, hoping for a new release soon :-)

Is that Vivaldi's built-in scheduler, or also following system theme?

I recently wanted to give Vivaldi a go. Doesn't use my system font, doesn't follow light/dark mode. Some vague recommendations to tweak stuff in chrome://appearance which only works for some users. Back to Firefox we go.

These irresponsible disclosures of critical exploits really need to stop. #copyFail #dirtyFrag

oh dear, I hadn't even thought of that yet. That's an awful realisation..

kde is *NOT* going to force users to use systemd and will not be dependent on it. Please see https://floss.social/@kde/116080098289301477
@npub1ppu…d8t7 perhaps it's a good idea to clarify this in your article.

can't you get the days back? In the Netherlands you can if you call in sick. Still messes up your plans of course...

Well, fuck. The cancer has metastasised to my lungs. Multiple tiny spots that - because of the kind of cancer - can with near certainty not be cured. This or next week I'll hear about chemo therapy, which will only serve to extend my life if it is effective.
It's really, really scary. 😞

2025-09-10 18:27:24 GMT

For fuck's sake. Two new tumours where the sarcoma was removed last year. It does not look good. If I get a clean scan of my lungs, I'll end up with a prosthetic bone in my leg or worse. Anything to be able to watch the little one grow up though.. #screamingIntoTheVoid #cancer

2025-08-06 12:34:18 GMT

My oncologist likes how my leg has healed up, but tells me to keep exercising to prevent long-term side effects from the radiation treatment ☢️ ... now the dreadful wait has started for the scan results of my lungs, hopefully still comes back clean and I'll have survived yet another cancer check-up 😁

[@bert_hubert](https://fosstodon.org/@bert_hubert ) interesting article, if you ignore the very poor English writing: https://noyb.eu/en/us-cloud-soon-illegal-trump-punches-first-hole-eu-us-data-deal

I wish I had more time available to apply my sysadmin skills. Small tip: I believe let's encrypt has asked people to set their timers to sometime during the night, and not exactly at midnight, to prevent being ddos'ed. I reckon this will be very interesting for an SRE role! Besides that, it's always great to listen to @npub1zqc…nvvp's voice 😊
