#Bitcoin has been marked by 4 year cycles where more people develop deep conviction over time, buy some, and then traders and GlObAl LiQuIdItY move the price around some growing true value to its hodlers. What’s never happened, will happen, and destroy every model, trading algo, and other stupid retail people buying and selling based on their cost basis, is when the actual land grab begins. At some point, when there are ten Michael Saylors, and then 50, and then 100. We have no idea where this all heads, or when that happens. Enjoy all the stupid metrics and cycles for now, but one day, it’s going to be so laughable that anyone even bothered with any of that.

I don’t think any of us against mRNA injections ever suggested a 100% lethality rate. There is some statistically significant % (it literally is showing up in insurance and disability numbers) that is having a tremendously detrimental impact on the world. Even at 1-2%, that’s tens of millions of people’s lives severely affected. As far as the CDC, well, we all know what they are.

You can say whatever you want about serving the man and your slave life, but things are incredibly good. I have made terms with the fact that they don’t care. They do not see value in a free speech protocol. To them, handing over the info unlocks a glorious world of internet awesomeness. They walk through the airport and voluntarily agree to scan their face. Even if you told them it was an option, they wouldn’t care. #Bitcoin is an easy sell because it goes up “in dollars”. Getting people to Nostr will be out of necessity. It will be the last option someone has. People aren’t voluntarily coming here. Being part of the cattle is a good life right now.

You kind of have it right. Freddie Mac will be the direct purchaser of a borrower’s second mortgage. So a bank/mortgage broker (authorized seller) will underwrite someone for a second mortgage up to an 80% LTV, fixed rate based on current mortgage rates, and paid and amortized over 20 years. As far as I can tell Freddie Mac will not be repackaging and selling these to anyone. They will be the note holders. Normal HELOCs are held by banks at floating rates and usually are interest only and up to 85% LTV.
Implications and analysis are far too long for a Nostr note, but long and short is that the federal government wants to inject liquidity through banks and mortgage brokers, and are guaranteeing the purchase of the underlying paper to do so. The bank/broker takes on no default or loss risk and gets to rip some nice fees for underwriting and processing the loan.

They are getting their coins somewhere from someone willing to sell at this price. Could be public miners, hedge funds selling for liquidity, OTC trades from whales, or lots of options. It certainly seems like we should be higher, but global markets are not univariate. This is why we hodl. Supply and demand math will eventually win out.
