Coming back to Nostr after a long time. @yakihonne is a news for me. I love the web and iOS versions. And it has zaps on notes on iOS (my fault I know) which is not available on @npub18m7…q955

Ok, you requested my personal profile, that may have a ton of problems.
My priority is now to fix the Peach profile.
I made some changes and this is the callback I get now, so it should be fixed I think:
```
{"callback":"https://ln.peachbitcoin.com/BTC/UILNURL/pay/i/LcxxP1mVAkwCgVbty7wRjo","metadata":"[[\"text/identifier\",\"[email protected]\"],[\"text/plain\",\"Thanks for zapping Peach Bitcoin!\"]]","tag":"payRequest","minSendable":1000,"maxSendable":612000000000,"commentAllowed":2000,"nostrPubkey":"a47457722e10ba3a271fbe7040259a3c4da2cf53bfd1e198138214d235064fc2","allowsNostr":true}
Thank you. I will investigate farther.
Mmmh this can be a Yakihonne problem maybe? I successfully zapped from Giovanni to Peach and from Peach to Giovanni. They are two separate nodes with channels opened with different nodes and liquidity providers. Do you have the chance to test with another client?
#[0] what about replacing bookmarks list with zapped list?
I zap and bookmark. Two clicks to archive what should be done with one.
If you want to bookmark, you have to zap, even 1 sat. If you want to be remembered, you need to set a lightning address.
Look here: https://twitter.com/Peer__2__Peer/status/1644828800717406209 all WoS or wallet that can't be used with Nostr. I don't care what the others are doing but it doesn't look nice.
2023-04-11 11:46:22 GMT
- reply
True, I should not have mentioned Alby. But my statement about the massive use of WoS is still valid. I tried Blixt but it doesn´t work (yet?) for zaps because you can´t have a lightning address on their Neutrino node. LNbits requires LND or I'm wrong? Looking at the amount of WoS it's clear that people are reluctant to run their own LN node.
The bad aspect is that 90% of us are zapping from/to wallet of satoshi or alby. I’ve been one of them for some weeks. Big blockers weren’t that wrong in the end 🥲.
Can someone explain me the reason of tens or hundreds of 0 sats not paid invoices on my node? I’m not sure it’s related to Nostr but I suspect that, since the only use of that node until now is a lightning address I provided for zaps on Nostr.
Would you pay for a relay based in Iceland (domain, dns, vps)?
2023-03-13 15:30:41 GMT
- reply
Just make sure that the buyer has a good reputation, so there is no risk of a fraudulent fiat payment.
2023-03-13 15:29:00 GMT
On the hodl hodl platform you open a trade to sell bitcoins to an existing Buy advertisement for the amount of the invoice you want to pay. When you are asked to provide the payment details, you give the details to pay the invoice. Buyer pays. The person expecting the invoice to be paid confirms the received payment. You release the bitcoins. You can do the same without the escrow offered by the platform with buyers you know personally and trust. I pay rents, professional services and other stuff this way, in countries where I don’t have a bank account.
2023-02-25 16:35:01 GMT
I found Iris on TestFlight better than Damus official version: no spam in the global feed with the same relays and I can search for nip-05 which I don’t find on Damus.
2023-02-25 12:56:48 GMT
- reply
I think I found out the reason. People following me on Iris but not on Damus, accordingly to Damus and coracle.social, are not connected to any relay at the moment, although seams odd.
2023-02-25 12:13:07 GMT
You don’t need to exit the app if the long post is a reply to the first note with just the heading. That said, I should try something else then Damus.
