Good morning!
Recovery after a busy social weekend takes time. It is only now that I am more or less feeling like myself again.

Most fun I've had as a photographer was concert photography. I got to know a couple of Dutch artists and bands. And so I had some opportunities to hang out with the band before, during and after a show. And that gave me stage access during the show.
Unfortunately, a growing depression and then the Covid lockdowns happened and I just stopped being in contact with a lot of people.
Guess the artist/band!

Slowly getting myself back into photography by bringing my camera on walks. Just walking through the nearby small nature reserve annex park with my camera and trying to see possible images.
No pressure. Just me, my camera, a 35mm lens and some landscape that I know quite well.
It's peaceful, and is reminding me of why I fell into love with photography. Just seeing cool shit and recording it.

I'm experimenting with how I can get back into photography. One way I am trying is making the setup as compact as possible. It is easier to almost always bring a camera when it is compact. So I threw my 35mm lens back on and added a wrist strap. No more bulky 28-75 for easy shooting, but a more limited field of view and the added challenge to find creative shots with this lens.
What would be your preferred daily carry camera setup?

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an amazing game!
I've played just a couple of hours so far, but the story is gripping, the characters are well written and acted, the visuals are amazing and the turn based combat has a real time element that feels fun.
Highly recommend this indie game from a French developer. With just 30 people they have managed to create something compelling.
If you haven't played it yet, do so! Available on Game Pass if you want to do a trial run.

It took a couple of weeks learning how the the values yaml files for rook ceph are supposed to be written. But I have finally managed to get a rook ceph storage cluster configured on a Talos kubernetes cluster!
I can do this stuff!
Next step is getting it to work with an ArgoCD CI/CD pipeline.

Is it controversial to like what perplexity.ai offers? Because I like it. Just dumping in search terms I would use, but getting a condensed answer with links to the used website sources.
I like it so much I am looking into setting up something similar using Perplexica. Combine that with Searxng, an open LLM and you should get something similar.
A shame my available GPU for server jobs is an older AMD RX 560 with 4GB VRAM.

Het is een dag die uitnodigd om binnen te zitten met de gloed van een computerscherm op mijn gezicht.
Daar heb ik niet veel voor nodig, want ik vind het heerlijk om mij te verliezen in de digital wereld en de bijbehorende technische en abstracte puzzels.

Van de berg afsleeën met sneeuw gebeurd nog steeds. Hoewel de andere berg daar ook een fijne plek voor is.
Van de vergane glorie is het oude water tracé voor de bootjes nog zichtbaar, met bordjes er bij.
Ik zelf heb alleen wat vage herinneringen aan midgetgolf en dat het een restaurant was. En iets van 3 keer afgefikt voordat ze het op hadden gegeven.
De nieuwe inrichting van het terrein vind ik wel een grote verbetering. Nu nog de waterhuishouding 😉
