It is nice to have your own opinion. When you're asked a question and the critical thinking in your brain starts to process the different things to consider to formulate the answer you truly think about, that's awesome!
It's like common sense, not very common!

It is amazing how different perspectives come to the same idea. About a month ago I learned about the concept "stored sun light" meaning that almost every form of energy is converted from sun light, and now reading this #book I find this:
"The sun is a currency, the world's first and most basic, endlessly convertible to other forms. You can take it in cabbages, carrots, or corn. You can take it in grass or hay, in milk or meat or timber. Give it several million years and you can take it in oil. But managing the conversion takes effort."

As there's no more money in the country to satisfy basic necessities of the people, keep going with infrastructure projects, and maintain the repressive army he's just squeezing El Salvador (ES) citizens pockets. He's so desperate looking for money that he wants to exploit gold mines, when a couple months ago ES was the only country with a law forbidding metallic mining. Population is speaking up against it and against all the injustices made by martial law against many innocent people, and he's utilizing judicial and military power to try to shut up the people. It happened to him the same kind of things that happen to all dictators in history.

About all that discussion of the "Government Efficiency" savings going to taxpayers.
That measure has its goal: obtain people who support that "branch of the gov". It is clear that many, if not all, opposes to most of the massive cuttings this government is doing. This is a popular measure that, when the goal is reached, then the government will have many people of their side to continue drowning more people's rights.

Dear #Bitcoin community,
I know how much you all love #Bitcoin as much as I do. I know also that Nayib Bukele in #ElSalvador is being admired for the #Bitcoin adoption.
When I learned about #Bitcoin and got to know that Bukele would make it legal tender, it actually was very contradictory to me. Because #Bitcoin was promoted as "no government no bank controls it". Have you think about that?
There are many things happening in #ElSalvador that aren't reflecting the necessities of its population, only the thirst and hunger of Bukele's ambition.
The real goal of #Bitcoin is to liberate people from banks and governments, not the opposite. Bukele used #Bitcoin to gain international popularity, and it worked for him. Now people in #ElSalvador think #Bitcoin isn't good, and you and I know that's not true. But Bukele has stained #Bitcoin 's image in #ElSalvador.
All I ask you is to be informed of what's really happening there, speak up, and share. It doesn't make sense for a #Bitcoiner to promote centralization of power.

My Review of '#TheSovereignIndividual'
Few are the #books that open your mind so that they make you think from the basic things. They make you see that, what seems so complex and so complicated in an accelerated world of information is as simple as how predictable human behavior can be driven by the basic needs we have. The fact of predicting so many technological advances that are now a reality makes the #book very credible. With the criteria and foundations described, it makes you think that they are right in almost everything they say. Not only that, but also the facts of the reality that surrounds us.
The contextualization of societies and their morals as an essential part of the success or failure of a nation is evident in the world we live in today, the one that our ancestors have lived, and the one that our successors will live. Under this indicator, the mini-#sovereigns argument welcomes much more viability in a #financial ecosystem where those who have the most can do what they want.
The perspective that the jobs of the future are not something that one has but tasks that are done, largely validate most of the arguments because work is one of the daily activities of the human being. The fact that the way to reward what is done through history since pre and post-indutrialization has evolved is an accurate look at the new forms of work and how the digital revolution makes manual work fade away. The relative greater access to production tools so that individuals can have greater independence means that individual #sovereignty is facilitated and that there is a pursue of transparency regarding the distribution of goods and resources.
Also important to mention that the authors reveal insights of the stereotypes and stigmas that they have according to their social class and as how they see countries that do not have minimum living conditions. This does not make the #book less objective but brings up a certain sense of superiority from them.
As humanity's timeline advances, it becomes more difficult for new beings to understand all the information gathered throughout history. Reading and writing are essential skills to keep up to date, as well as the search for information that helps the best understanding of the environment to have a clear vision of what you want and where you are going. This #book is one of those that provides a general idea to understand what can be expected (and seen) in the dynamics between individuals and nation-state countries in the transition to digitization, based on analogies of human history from when humankind went through similar moments of detachment from a larger entity in search of collective #sovereignty.

"Fiat money gives the power to government, real money gives the power to the people. Because it can only spend what it taxes, and the public will resist taxation. but if the government can print and borrow there's a lot less resistance so it's a lot easier for the government to grow when it can promise something for nothing."
Governments are just fooling people, make them think that without them there's no possibilities for them to have a life with dignity. The truth is that people have the power when they don't depend on governments, when they know how organize and fight against the dominant power.
We have to produce we have to work, not for a government but for ourselves as society.

Many basic questions are clear while you read the Bitcoin whitepaper and respond yourself some questions that arise about the security concerns with the timestamp net. It is really secure against attackers who want to double spend. I guess my question would be, what if a group of attackers collaborate to make one account double spend? is it possible to locally have a group of attackers where the probability of the attacker is greater than the probability of the honest nodes, then replicate the attack as the 'honest block' and disseminate the attack as 'honest'?

According to history, one of the reasons US colonialists wanted independence from Great Britain was because there were high taxes and no representation in the British parliament, summarized in the phrase "no taxation without representation"
In colonial United States, taxes were significantly lower compared to modern times. The average tax rate in colonial US was between 1% - 1.5%.
Today, taxes are much higher. For example:
• Federal Income Tax: The federal income tax rate ranges from 10% to 37%, depending on income.
• State and Local Taxes: These vary but can include additional income taxes, sales taxes, and property taxes.
• Payroll Taxes: These include Social Security and Medicare taxes, which are around 7.65% for employees and employers each.
Individuals around the world where taxes are suffocating and interrupt the way they want to live will want to gain independence from governments.
The best option as for now would be the cyberspace and the tool that will give them that freedom is #Bitcoin
History repeats itself.

The constitution makes sense for a time that no longer exists, for a #culture that is no longer present and where the beneficiaries are the dominant powers. That is why it is necessary to change the system, that is why it is necessary to transition to a society in which legality, laws, and what needs to be modified are not only seen by government entities but by all individuals who live there. I clearly see #open source projects/communities are the new constitution with consensus rules where truly everyone has a vote. I believe in open ecosystems where the merit and hard work have more value than a position reached because of nobility or titles. #Humanity can become actually free, only if individuals want, work hard and persist to reach it.

Why #Bitcoin adoption becomes hard for most people?
Here is my top 5 reasons.
-Legal aspect. There is the perception among the people that #Bitcoin is something illegal because of the media spreading information about the potential it has for criminal transactions purposes.
-Wallet confusion. There are many, MANY wallets that can be used for #Bitcoin transactions, the great diversity makes it confusing because many questions come up the deeper someone goes in the subject.
-Basic knowledge of informatics and cyber security. Nevertheless the wallet used, it is necessary to understand the #blockchain technology to actually know what's going on. The cautions announced about being careful when using #Bitcoin generate alerts and therefore fear for not feeling secure in the Internet. This learning curve is challenging and intimidating for most people.
-Lack of knowledge about the gaps shown by the fiat financial system. As it is said in social media: #Bitcoin is everything you don't understand about finances together with everything you don't know about informatics.
-Transaction fees. Although it is said that transaction fees are low, they really depend on the high or low network traffic, which makes relatively low transactions to be relatively high in costs.
What else do you think makes Bitcoin hard to adopt? 🤔
