This photograph of a Cedar Waxwing (Bombycilla cedrorum) almost feels like a watercolor study of the bird. A small flock had settled in an oak just east of my backyard fence. I was sitting at our outdoor table when I spotted them. I managed a couple of distant shots from that spot—too far for much detail—then tried to ease closer. The flock lifted the moment I stood. It’s definitely not a white Christmas where I am—unless you count the light fog that rolled in this morning. It’s 63°F and climbing. The weather report insists it’s dense fog, but I know better. Back in California, the fog was so thick you’d swear you could slice it with a knife. Anyway, I’ll spare you my usual morning ramble. I hope you’ve got gifts to unwrap and family to share the day with. I trust you’ll carry the joy in the spirit of the season. But if you’re feeling contrary, bah humbug is a tradition too—and apparently, it’s one way to summon the spirits. “Cozy nights, twinkling lights, and hearts full of Christmas magic.” — Snugfam Christmas “Merry vibes only.” — Snugfam Christmas Quotes #photo #photography #photographer #photographylovers #nature #morning #Christmas #flower #rose #fog https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/780/553/128/399/326/original/67eda37bfd5e71db.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs Good morning. 🕊️🕊️🕊️ 6 November 2025 Above my desk hangs a landscape print—a gift from my last job, given for either five or ten years of service. I don’t recall which. By the time I reached fifteen years, they’d stopped doing that altogether. The company had changed hands by then, and the ritual of recognition faded with it. The print doesn’t hold any sentimental weight for me. I’m thinking of giving it to Goodwill and replacing it with one of my own photographs—something with personal resonance, maybe a bird in flight or a quiet perch. Back then, the gifting process involved a catalog. You’d flip through a book of options and make your selection. I checked to see if a new car was tucked in there somewhere—no car, not even a bicycle. Most of the offerings were trinkets, tokens of acknowledgment more than celebration. I didn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, but I did notice the relative insignificance of the gesture. It came with a certificate, which may or may not still be buried somewhere in my things. I understand the impulse to honor longevity. In the Army, soldiers receive a medal for every three years of good conduct—essentially for staying out of trouble. They also wear hash marks on their uniforms, one for every three years of service. A visible ledger of time. It feels like I should be making a point, doesn’t it? But I already did. I’m replacing the print above my desk with one of my bird photographs. The rest was just thoughts circling around. I’ll need a ladder. “Ritual is the passageway of the soul into the Infinite.” – Algernon Blackwood “The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.” – Bill Copeland “I realize there’s something incredibly honest about trees in winter—how they’re experts at letting things go.” — Jeffrey McDaniel #photo #photography #photographer #wildlife #nature #bird #birds #birding #birdwatching #birdphotography #morning #longevity #reward #pigeons https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/503/067/459/857/908/original/213c0363f4ff40bc.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs White-Throated Wanderer While near Houston, Texas, I spent time watching a group of domestic ducks and geese drifting across a quiet lake. At a certain hour each day, they would emerge from the water and waddle up to the back of a nearby house—like a beach landing by a gentle, feathered invasion force. I surmised the residents had been feeding them, and the birds returned with hope in their gait and memory in their beaks. Among them was a Chinese goose (Anser cygnoides domesticus), waddling across the backyard with deliberate steps, heading back toward the lake. Its motion was both purposeful and ceremonial, as if retracing a sovereign route between kinship and water. The forest is slowly reclaiming it—vines creeping over the roofline, branches brushing the siding like forgotten memories. I’ve passed it many times, and noticed something peculiar: the door is sometimes open, sometimes closed. That detail unsettles me. Mischievous kids, perhaps—or are other forces at play? The road itself is narrow, flanked by dense forest on both sides. The house sits to my left as I walk. I often glance into the trees, scanning for birds or signs of wildlife. But on the left, deeper in the woods, I keep seeing another house—or the same one—lurking beyond the tree line. It feels as if the abandoned house is following me, shifting just out of reach. Yet when I stop to look directly, there’s nothing there. Only trees. I wonder: is my mind playing tricks on me? That would be the sensible explanation. Or is something more supernatural unfolding here? Does the house beckon, inviting me to step off the road and into the forest? If I did, would it lure me deeper still, until the path behind me vanished? Thankfully, my dog Charlie is always with me. He knows when it’s time to turn around and go home. “One need not be a chamber to be haunted; One need not be a house; The brain has corridors surpassing material place.” — Emily Dickinson “A house is never still in darkness to those who listen intently; there is a whispering in distant chambers, an unearthly hand presses the snib of the window, the latch rises.” — James M. I believe I caught sight of it the evening before I took the photo—part of a group of ghostly white figures moving along the shore in the darkness. Their silhouettes were vague, their honks echoing across the water like distant signals. I did a bit of quick research, thinking they might be snow geese, given the pale plumage and nocturnal presence. But I hadn’t really seen them—only their spectral outlines and voices. As it turns out, the figures were a ragtag band of domestic geese and ducks, drifting about and landing on backyard shores like raiding pirates—unruly, unbothered, and oddly ceremonial in their arrival. https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/356/141/993/208/636/original/83dd2a1fa0595735.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs Good morning. 🦆🦆🦆 11 October 2025 When I was a child living on the naval base in Yokosuka, Japan during the early 1960s, I remember being rather brazen in some ways. I loved comic books—especially the DC superheroes and Dennis the Menace. It wasn’t uncommon for me to trek over to the Naval Exchange, settle myself on the floor, and read comics straight from the stand. If I had the cash, I’d buy one or two. They were a whole dime each. Here’s an interesting detail: back then, we used Military Payment Certificates (MPC), which were paper currency—even down to the nickel. Pennies were still allowed. MPC was colorful, and I seem to recall the ten-cent note being blue, though that’s more of a memory fragment than certainty—it was so long ago. I remember one particular day when my mother gave me fifty cents and sent me to the commissary to buy a loaf of bread. Like any kid, my route was anything but direct—my imagination wandered with me. Somewhere along the way, I realized I’d lost the fifty cents—a hefty sum at the time. I stopped, unsure what to do, and prayed for help, fearing the wrath I might face if I returned empty-handed. Looking back now, decades later, that fear was unfounded—but I was just a kid. Then something curious happened. I felt compelled to walk in the direction of the wind. So, I did. And sure enough, I came across the fifty cents. I seem to recall the note being a brownish-red color, though again, that detail is softened by time. Was it divine intervention, or simply a child’s mind reasoning its way through uncertainty? I still wonder, even after all these years. The moment feels suspended between faith and instinct—an echo of something quietly profound. “Memories of childhood were the dreams that stayed with you after you woke.” — Julian Barnes “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is.” — Albert Einstein #morning #ducks #lake #sunset #dusk #comicbooks #faith #MPC https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/355/565/848/605/096/original/d635a96225350e1e.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs Good morning. ☕☕☕ 10 October 2025 Last night, we attended our nephew’s graduation from the Basic Peace Officer’s Course—a police academy run by a Texas sheriff’s department. He’s now officially a deputy. It was a proud moment for all of us, a rite of passage and a major milestone in his life. After the ceremony, we headed to Pappadeaux’s for supper. With a large party in tow, seating proved tricky. Eventually, the manager emerged with a plan: two adjacent tables near the window, one already empty, the other occupied by guests who had finished eating, paid their bill, and were simply lingering. We stood outside, watching through the glass as the scene unfolded. The tables were, in essence, half ours—but the second group wasn’t budging. I suspect they knew others were waiting. Eventually, I saw the manager approach them. He must’ve asked them to leave. Maybe he used that old nightclub line I remember from my younger days: “You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.” Once seated, I was already fading. I told my wife it was past my bedtime. She reassured me I’d be fine, and I replied, “It’s ten minutes to Wapner.” A small comfort—proof that my odd sense of humor hadn’t yet abandoned me. As the evening settled in, I found myself quietly observing. I can’t follow the chatter in noisy settings, so I drifted into thought. I noticed our nephew and his younger entourage had claimed one table, while we—the elders—gathered at the other. The generational divide was clear but not unwelcome. It felt like a gentle sorting, a ceremonial seating of past and future. “Few of us go through life without taking part in some kind of rite of passage.” — Hank Nuwer “Family likeness has often a deep sadness in it… blends yearning and repulsion; and ties us by our heart-strings to the beings that jar us at every movement.” — George Eliot “The older I get, the more I love my morning coffee and no one speaking to me.” — Anonymous, Wordgag #morning #RiteOfPassage #grass #photo https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/349/579/009/595/854/original/95cf7ac711f9d45b.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs There Be Witches Here 🧹 What stories might this house tell? A solitary dwelling perched on a hill beneath a sky in turmoil. Are its occupants still among the living—or merely remembered by the walls? The trees are little more than silhouettes, but their edges blaze as if lit by fire. A bolt of light—like lightning or molten dusk—streaks across the frame from right to left, erupting and re-erupting in the taller, sparser trees on the left. Above it all, the sky smolders in shades of orangish black, thick with dusk’s residue. The effect wasn’t exactly planned. I was fiddling with the light parameters—sliding levers, nudging contrast—and this emerged. It felt like a sovereign accident, so I kept it. Why not. The photographs I share here don’t appear as vivid as they do in my Pixel’s gallery. To make them load more easily, I reduce their size and slightly lower their quality. I wanted to capture a close-up of its intense stare - an unyielding gaze that speaks of stealth and dominance. Though only its right eye is visible in this image, it unmistakably belongs to a predator, sharp and unwavering. https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/318/460/280/771/243/original/8a5830fef1b0ee97.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs Forest Oracle This is a white-faced capuchin (Cebus capucinus), photographed a few years ago in Roatan, Honduras. I grabbed my camera and began taking pictures, documenting the moment from behind the glass. Before long, the mother stepped into view, and I continued photographing the pair through the window. Curiosity nudged me outside. I made my way to the northwest corner of the fence and climbed onto the concrete bench stationed there, hoping to peer over without disturbing the scene. I fancied myself stealthy, but momma deer saw through the ruse instantly. Still, I managed to capture several good shots. This image—taken at the exact moment I rose above the fence—is my favorite. A Pileated Woodpecker (Dryocopus pileatus) swooped in and landed in the oak tree just beyond the fence. Regal, flame-crested, and unmistakable. Unfortunately, it chose a perch behind a veil of foliage, denying me a clear shot. I rose, circled, tried to negotiate an angle—but the woodpecker, sensing my pursuit, vanished into the forest. Perhaps if I’d remained still, it might have made a ceremonial dive toward the bird feeder. C’est la vie. I’d love to say I captured this moment on a secluded beach, but the reality is far less picturesque—I snapped it in a Walmart parking lot in Albany, Georgia, far from the ocean. Unbothered by the lack of sea breeze, the gull was intent on settling atop a light pole. It’s very much a 20th-century thing. I still keep a checkbook and write the occasional check—usually to pay a bill that can’t be handled online, or for a larger purchase that my credit card might not accommodate. The checkbook isn’t forgotten; I still keep the ledger up to date. I use a debit card now and then, though I prefer a credit card. The thing is, nowadays many small businesses charge extra when you use a credit card. Some even tack on fees for any card, which misses the point entirely—they’re not charged extra for processing a debit card. That’s yet another reason I might reach for a check. Back in the 20th century—especially in the ’70s and ’80s—writing checks was common practice. People carried their checkbooks everywhere and used them for everything. Need gas? Write a check. Groceries? Write a check. Just want a cold soda? Write a check. I still remember opening my first checking account and thinking, I have arrived. It took a lesson or two to learn about balancing the checkbook, and the statement you received in the mail didn’t always reflect your actual balance. Live and learn. Nowadays, if I’m waiting in line at a store and the person ahead of me waits until all her items are scanned before digging through her purse—only to retrieve a checkbook—I might let out a silent sigh. I’d be careful not to show any emotion, not even impatience. Even if she waits until asked for ID to start rummaging again, my outward demeanor would remain impassive. For I remember when. “Any general statement is like a check drawn on a bank. Its value depends on what is there to meet it.” — Ezra Pound “The good old days weren’t always good, and tomorrow ain’t as bad as it seems.” — Billy Joel #morning #beach #birds #photo #checks #nostalgia #photography #photographer #photographylovers #wildlife #nature https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/168/620/237/986/338/original/f6dbbd18af805675.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs Bluebird at the Summit I'm Surprised that this image came out as well as it did. These two rock pigeons—Columba livia, if you’re feeling scientific—are regulars in my backyard. I call them officers of the pigeon battalion, part of the morning flock that descends on my bird feeders with military precision. If you look closely, you’ll see what I call epaulets on their shoulders—markings that suggest rank, or at least attitude. The pigeon in the foreground is easy to spot. He’s got a grizzle effect in his plumage, a genetic quirk that gives him those distinctive white patches. Like camouflage, but for a bird who doesn’t bother hiding. I used to try discouraging their visits. They’d clean out the seed before the songbirds even got a chance. But nothing worked. So I went with the old saying: If you can’t beat them, join them. Now I just salute and let the battalion do its rounds. Today’s a walk day, and of course it’s supposed to rain cats and dogs right around eight—that’s exactly when I usually head down the road. I think I just gave myself away by bringing up the weather again. 😉 There was a time when rain wouldn’t stop me. I’d run no matter what. Kind of like a postman: “Neither snow nor rain nor heat…” Lightning, though? Yeah, lightning might’ve stopped me. These days, rain’s a full showstopper. I stick my head out, squint at the sky, and say, “Well, looks like rain,” like I might melt if I dared. I’ll blame Charlie. No one wants a soaked dog tromping back inside, shaking off regret and puddles. Dry dog good. I can’t remember if it was a walk-in or a drive-in, but the title and the advertising had us convinced it was a horror flick—something along the lines of Village of the Damned. I kept waiting for the big reveal, the moment when the horror would finally show its face. It never did. Sitting through most of it, I probably thought, “Lord, just take me now.” More recently, Pig with Nicolas Cage pulled the same trick. I went in expecting John Wick with a truffle pig and got… well, I still don’t know what I got. I haven’t opened the blinds yet. I gave Charlie his morning dental treat a while ago, using my left hand instead of the usual right. Normally, he snatches it without hesitation, but this morning he gave me the signal to set it down. Dog language is fascinating—I’m not fluent, but I’ve picked up a few cues over time. Charlie’s especially expressive, so it’s easier to read him when I’m paying attention. The “put it down” signal is subtle: just a slight lowering of his head. I don’t actually speak the lingo, of course. He knows my habits better than I know his, and he probably understands more words than I give him credit for—probably. And now, here he is, reminding me that mealtime is still a half-hour away. #photo #photography #photographer #photographylovers #wildlife #nature #bird #birds #birding #birdwatching #birdphotography #morning #ducks #dogs https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/094/880/850/851/386/original/78c1b130de541de4.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs Heron in Mid-Sentence Here’s a photograph of a juvenile, yellow-crowned night heron (Nyctanassa violacea) I captured while sailing through the middle of the Caribbean Sea. My phone says 69°F, my computer says 66°F. Both are, of course, Fahrenheit readings, because for some reason the metric system never quite took root here in the United States—except in scientific circles, where logic still occasionally prevails. Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if someone tried to ban the metric system outright for being “un-American.” (That’s sarcasm, in case it wasn’t obvious.) It’s the same kind of thinking that leads to renaming international geographic features by royal decree—pointless and performative. But maybe that’s the point. In a time when up equals down, light equals dark, and absurdity passes for virtue, it’s clear the lunatics have taken over the asylum. “Tell people there's an invisible man in the sky who created the universe, and the vast majority will believe you. If I had a few spare minutes at the end of the morning routine, I’d sit and watch the news—still half-asleep, wishing I could just close my eyes again. After I retired, I did exactly that. It became a kind of perverse pleasure: get up, do a few things, then settle into my spot and drift right back to sleep. Truth be told, that’s what I’m tempted to do right now. But I won’t. It’s too late—only 35 minutes until mealtime. Charlie would just pester me until I got up again anyway. But after mealtime? The sky stretches wide—blue and open—dotted with soft white and gray clouds like tufts of cotton. The trees flanking the view are rendered in monochrome, their leaves and trunks shadowed into quiet silhouettes. I like the contrast: light against dark, color against grayscale, sky against canopy. Didn't we just have one? I can't decide if time speeding up is a blessing or a warning. Sure, it’s rushing by because—like I said—we’re having fun. But it also feels like it’s hurrying us toward the inevitable. You know... the big you know what. If only we could make time stand still. Just pause everything—take a breath, take a beat. Then again, if we’re breathing, time’s still moving, isn’t it? There’s another line people toss around: “we have all the time in the world.” That one’s a lie, isn’t it? Though, when we were young, it sure felt true. “One day, you’re 17 and you’re planning for someday. And then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. That’s not true, is it? I think he came in earlier, maybe mumbling, and my wife woke me. Or maybe he was already in the room, just sitting there, staring at me like he was waiting for a signal. I’d just turned over when she shook me, so who knows—he could’ve been perched there for hours, silently willing me to twitch. He does that when I sleep in the recliner. Just sits and stares until my eyelids flutter, then starts talking in that gravelly nonsense language of his and nudging me like I owe him rent. I’m not sure if it’s eerie or comforting to have a pair of eyes locked on me while I sleep. It's always amusing. “I watch because I care. I had a dream last night. Strange one. It’s already fading, but here’s what I remember: I traded my truck for a souped-up muscle car. At some point, I needed to move a trailer—but the car didn’t have a hitch. I searched online for a fix, but came up empty. The last bit I recall, I was heading somewhere with a man and a woman I knew well—except I didn’t. We all piled into the car, and I woke up. Weird, huh? I felt a flicker of regret about the truck. What was I thinking? I was up at the crack of dawn this morning—that moment when ambient light hasn’t quite seeped through the bedroom windows. But it was just bright enough to wake Charlie, who woke my wife, who woke me by saying, “Charlie’s up.” It reminded me of Ben, who used to wake me at four in the morning during his final years. Then my wife would say, “Ben’s up.” She’s been scouting for a puppy lately, but everyone seems to want a small fortune for theirs. I’m not used to that—I’d need to meet the dog first. And honestly, I’m not sure I’m ready for another puppy. Still, if past patterns hold, a dog will show up at our doorstep eventually - abandoned, looking for a place to land. It happens more often than you’d think. They’re yellow-crowned night herons (Nyctanassa violacea). One leads, followed closely by five others; a little farther back, a group of three trails behind. I was on a ship in the Caribbean when they flew parallel to us, gliding at eye level with my balcony. The details of each bird are hard to make out, but their heads are tucked close to their bodies, and their long, slightly curved beaks point forward. Their broad, dark wings contrast with pale undersides, and their yellow legs and feet dangle behind like loose threads. Explore a curated collection of heron and egret images in my photo gallery. Then a lone pigeon flew in from the southwest, headed toward the shed, made a sharp U-turn, and darted back the way it came. The rest of the flock took off in perfect unison, following the same direction. A few heartbeats later, a hawk dove into the backyard below the fence line, then rose back up and landed in a tree just outside the fence. That’s the hawk in this image—my best snap of the morning. Leaves got in the way, of course—just enough to hide the crown. My gut says Cooper’s hawk (Accipiter cooperii), but Merlin’s leaning sharp-shinned (Accipiter striatus). I imagine he’ll round the corner any minute now to remind me of my duties. And speak of the devil—here he is, muttering something. I swear he tries to talk. Sometimes I think I catch actual words like “let’s go” or “go out.” Is it just my imagination running away with me? Anyway, I’ve prepared breakfast for Charlie. I use all my culinary talents—the same ones I use for myself: I open a can. When Charlie eats, if I stand too close and watch, he gives me the side-eye and a low growl. But when I eat, he plants himself right in front of me and stares until I tell him to go away. Yes, I’ve posted this Jane Goodall quote more than once. The jay inside the feeder seems to be mid-complaint, wings flared wide as if shielding its treasure from the intruder. Meanwhile, the bird perched on the arm of the swing gazes upward with a weary tilt, as if silently pleading, “Lord, help me.” If you're enchanted by images of blue jays and other captivating corvids, dive into my photo gallery for a visual treat! I assumed they were accidental shots and nearly deleted them—until something caught my eye. “Wait a minute… what’s that?” Nestled in the shadows was a bird. Based on the shape and coloring, I believe it’s a blue-gray tanager (Thraupis episcopus)—at least that’s what Merlin suggests. Still, I’d appreciate help confirming or correcting the ID. The online photos show a similar bird, though many feature a lighter blue body than the one I captured. Then again, she might be singing—or perhaps she’s a fledgling, calling out for something to eat. The photographs I share here don’t appear as vivid as they do in my Pixel’s gallery. To make them load more easily, I reduce their size and slightly lower their quality. And by “gym day,” I mean dragging a foldable bench in from the patio, grabbing a couple of dumbbells, and giving myself a modest workout. I started this routine a couple of months ago, and honestly, I think I’ve already outgrown the dumbbells. Back in my fifties—when I was a young man—I was a regular at a real gym. There’s something remarkable about muscle memory. When you train, your muscles add nuclei, and even if you stop for years, those nuclei don’t just vanish. So when you start again, even after a decade or more, the infrastructure is still there, quietly waiting. I should probably move up to the next weight class in barbells… but I’m not keen on having a pile of them cluttering the sunroom. “Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. In the distance, a low, narrow strip of land stretches across the horizon, grounding the scene. Scattered clouds drift overhead, some touched by light, others lingering in shadow. The sun appears as a large, luminous sphere, already high above the horizon. Below, the rippled water reflects its presence with subtle shimmer. The image leans toward monochrome, softened by gentle yellow tints that warm the light. For those who love skies set ablaze with color—sunsets that linger, clouds that speak in texture and light—my gallery holds a collection crafted just for you. https://swede1952-photographs.pixels.com #photo #photography #photographer #photographylovers #sunrise #clouds #CaribbeanSea #ocean #sun https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/016/956/368/539/290/original/5b0fadabaf169ba6.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs Watchful Flame I planned to post a photo of a different bird one morning. But while copyediting images from an old SD card, I came across this shot of a northern cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis). The clear glow in his eye caught me. The trick, of course, is not wanting much. That part comes easier as we coast down the far side of the hill. For reasons I can’t quite explain, I don’t covet things the way I used to. Well… except for camera gear. But even there, I’m pretty well set for the long haul—assuming the haul is long, and I’m hoping it is. I’ve got a loving wife, a roof over my head, and food on the table. The food could be better, I suppose, but what can you do? Doctor’s orders. And I’d be remiss not to mention Charlie, my dog. He’s a vital part of my daily happiness—and a source of those small, persistent annoyances that keep life interesting. “Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.” — Epictetus #photo #photography #photographer #photographylovers #morning #sky #clouds #abstract #wants https://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/010/036/791/647/185/original/312516795c7e84df.jpg npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs @nprofile…dc6s No doubt but the birds would like to survive. npub152xa60u4227f9zxp04wetyn73l20ma3j3349lqwwrkzhcyl6wqzsfclraq Swede’s Photographs Whispers in Red Northern Cardinals (Cardinalis cardinalis) are among the most frequent visitors to our backyard.
