Good Morning universe -- here is our volatility landscape entering the week. I have placed my (daily) levels back to the 1 sigma range as it seems the vol spike is cooling.
You can see the IVp went from 1% to 84% last week with HV30 after bottoming rising to match the DVOL (IV) and our short-term vol levels with HV14 expanded to 30% MORE THAN what is implied.

IMHO it’s volatility compression paired with a catalyst— we had HV14 and HV30 at yearly lows when Scott Bessent said the US government is doubling the T-note reverse repo monthly from 20b to 40b aka doubling the printing of IS fiat.
Straddle is the play killing the losing side after day one. Range expansion doesn’t choose up or down the catalyst does.
Cheers.

@nprofile…svst What are the current BTC exchange levels in their reserves they could possible dump down at the lower vol band here?

2026-08-03 12:02:59 GMT

Good Morning -- Here we are again after the weekend meltdown with the Gann Fan overlaid on my orbiting (daily, weekly, monthly) volatility calculations taken from the current volatility index (BTCDVOL). These vol bands are undated for the AUG monthly --
The Gann 45° angle has broken down after having two reallly nice weekend bounces that crumbled overnight during the Asian/Europe cash session. Buyer be warned here -- and remember how we talked about institutional money protecting at the 61k P.
Gamma is stacking below and overnight the skew has slipped making the deal short gamma. This creates a 🧲 on the put wall that if that support breaks...the dealer accelerates the moves until buyers step in and they can re-hedge the SPOT price.
(@nprofile…svst can give us the full gamma read on this weeks weekly. )
Swinging my short perpetual position still and will be looking for the next support level or justification to hedge it on futures. Watch out there -- it's getting slippery.

Good Morning and happy last day of July -- Waking up today with price at the lower HV band. I expect what is implied (IV) on the day with expansion starting to ramp up into the soft form melt down.
Gamma rolled off this weeks expiry overnight as the volatility hit, keep in mind the IV mark on the day holds confluence with the put wall gamma concentration that just rolled off and is shifting lower into next week.
(What the fuck that guy just say)
The put wall will start to act like a 🧲 as the gamma skew flips, which it looks like it might head towards staking at 60k --
For July, price rose +14.80% off of 58k and will be closing the month as it looks right now roughly +8.83%. Not in the books yet, but looking spot on to past years.

@nprofile…9fwk website and operation is looking good my friend. I had to check it out -- my hash is 150 th/s and my rate fluctuates from .07 (winter) to .12 (summer). Miners currently are not hashing due to the bear market.
I am an electrician by trade and build out in home. Let's get to know each other!

I have flattened my short perps position at closing (00:00 UTC) last night missing the tail end of that drip -- Watching for re-entry over the next 48 hours with volatility created from the FED --

My next step?
Always moving forward. I run visual hashtags on information I want to get out there, that I would like as a feed.
So far I am working;
#BitcoinTreasury (all SEC 8-k filing of my full BTCTC list off .org)
#TradingNostr (all my automated trading work)
#AskMimir (my agentic bot anyone can ask 3 question a day to)
@nprofile…svst also does all FOMC day polling on rates, and economic decision coming through the pipeline...I thinking about flagging these posts into a hashtag to track

GM and happy Sunday -- I am going to start building into my short perps position again here --

Does anyone else turn #hastags into feeds here on #nostr?
That's a really cool feature to track anything trending you like that someone is putting out there.

Okay I got uncomfortable with my position heavy shorts with the leverage above -- looks like it could swipe 67.5k but elasticity would have to stretch or take multiple days.
I am now straddled against 10/10 --

2026-07-21 00:47:22 GMT

I have bid into a new hedge position on futures with looking at the Gahn overlay on my charts -- Monthly values still above with now daily IV/HV values sitting on a ledge above that.

Officially running LIVE test on my CLN drip program.
I've built this on the Mac OS SwiftBar and just moved and implemented to .spk wrapper for #START9 servers. To have this open-sourced in September is the goal -- It's how I live as much as possible of the Bitcoin Standard.
I run 50% of my pay into #Bitcoin weekly using the fee free #STRIKE direct deposit system, then send to my NODE at cents on the dollar using L2 to push liquidity around and help strength the #LightningNetwork.
My CLN channels are automated and managed by CLBOSS -- IYKYK.
That's where my drip script comes in...100k SATs a day everyday for the next month's bills. I drip to #CashApp for both my wife and I. On the 28th of every month I reconcile, trade in for fiat and pay bills.
The worst part of the system?
CashApp get's me with roughly a 1% fee, so $20 every $2000 in bills but, the offset earning Satoshi's on L2 moving liquidity offsets this with a large enough savings being used a liquidity.

Built a drip system from my NODE running (automated routing with CLBOSS channel management) CLN to drip100k -200k SATs a day to my Ca$hApp for daily use -- I plunge 50% of my weekly pay on STRIKE into BTC at no fee cost and send directly onto my NODE's L2 open channels again at basically no fee at all. Thank you @jack mallers -- The times we are living in are INSANE! I'm the biggest pleb out there living his dreams. I'm essentially off fiat rails entirely and my hot checking account is MY server in MY house.

Okay here we go -- BTC and ETH incoming with the 9/21 EMA cross on the 4 hour chart with dealer GEX levels off local weekly strikes shown.
Price is in POS gamma territory with PWs pushing out of sight and the CWs being lowered in.
If the institutional bid comes back with POS CoinBase premium and NEG funding rates on exchanges we have a squeeze recipe.
