I've always been a PC user. Never cared for smartphones.
Nowadays you have to refer to everything you use as "web-based" if you're accessing something on PC :guilded_lul: "wtf is a web app??" :guilded_lol:
I remember when it was implied any tech you were working with was through a PC. I'd run Notepad and just start building HTML code with tables, then save it as .html to view a quick website I built. No mobile versions and CSS.

Luckily I know how to edit video. Any video I upload that is something of mine I will make sure to export it into a "file size friendly" compression. I'll use something like a "Twitter 720p" preset, which keeps larger videos to smaller MB file sizes. It varies depending on your source material, of course, but it drastically helps.
This not only helps the host, but also anybody trying to play the file (quicker load times/no buffering).

Took a quick peek at one of my old Phantasy Star IV saves from the late 2000s :pacman_ghost:
Looks great in Gens. And this is the same version of the emulator I've had since the early 2000s, (v2.11 released in 2002). It still lists "Win 9X / ME / 2000 / XP" in the About :guilded_heh:

Recently got Wren in Phantasy Star III. I did remember to buy him a weapon before you find him in that dungeon (has no equipment and is level 1).
What I did forget is he is a magic/tech user (offense) in PSIII, which is weird. I leveled him up to 7 before the next dungeon (where I get Lyle) and I have him focused on the Gra spell.
Also, the overworld music gained a third layer of sound. Can't wait for the band to be complete with 5 party members and the drumming kicks in! :rashdance:

I am replaying Phantasy Star III, my first new game in many years.
I applied just one ROM Hack for double walk speed, and I think it greatly improves the gameplay because PSIII has slowwww walk speed.
For this one I chose the classic Gens emulator. Gens has great graphic rendering options, and the default setting (shown here) really cleans up a ROM.

I captured this with one of those cheap Amazon RCA to HDMI boxes, then recorded the gameplay with OBS.
Side note: The battery on this PSIV cart for the static RAM is still good. I last checked a few years ago when I recorded this clip and my original saves from the 90s are still there.

I also posted this to Gab last night and I got a couple "femboy tranny" trolling accounts pushing their BS worldviews in the comments.
I equally apply this logic to any pro-WN-1488 account and block them if they're pushing their BS in a video game post. I don't believe in the false "left/right" paradigm.
One thing I learned over the many years using the internet and socials? It's more likely some government intel spooks are behind these accounts. They want you to interact, so I just block.

This was the one and only game I played on Virtual Boy back in the 90s. I knew a friend who had one and this was the game he had. I can still recall the RED everywhere :guilded_lol: I also remember this game being fun enough to continue playing, even in the awkward position of using a Virtual Boy :gabsalute:
