Do the French collect a Land Capture Tax on property closest to the hubs of the new transportation builds? When we were in Mexico for a while we saw farm growing pepper plants, and amongst the plants were these leantos of 2 flat boards creating an A-frame. Ok, I heard someone on a podcast say, “They don’t need pictures of our photo IDs, the algorithm already knows how old we are based on our behaviour. They can just ask for proof of those who are tagged as under 18, if they don’t comply they get shutdown. This way they don’t “need” “everyone’s” ID.”

When the southern border was more porous Mexican workers would come seasonally, work the agricultural jobs most Americans still don’t want to work and go home with a bundle of green backs for their family. After Vietnam one of the generals who was feeling like shit for having had his ass handed to him, applied for the job of border management and amped everything up. This forced many Mexicans to choose to stay when they successfully crossed the border rather than gambling on not being able to get back. Sometimes the outcome you hope for doesn’t quite work out.
