Any surprising use-cases I might have missed? npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @nprofile…lanw proving once more that for many people it's all about the Après ski ;) npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @nprofile…u7p7 Not to tell you how to run your machines, but I recommend something like ulogd and tweaking the firewall rules, to keep dmesg a bit cleaner. I've had a case many years back where fw DROP messages outcrowded messages about a failing disk (yesyes, log monitoring etc, still.) npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @nprofile…u7p7 Ah, I just figured it out now: you can only set the server to sync with on account creation, not afterwards. npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @nprofile…u7p7 Do you use a different browser-side extension than the default one? Mine doesn't seem to have any setting where I can point it at a private server. I tried figuring this out a bit back and so never got started on the server-side setup. npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @nprofile…aqzs N'obig. Some are, some aren't. The classic way to remove it is Isopropyl alcohol (IPA). I usually cover the PCB with some kitchen towel or similar (the more tear-resistant, the better), soak it in 50/50 IPA/distilled water and scrub the whole thing with a toothbrush. The IPA and toothbrush loosen the gunk, and the paper towel picks it up. Repeat as necessary and do a final flush with distilled water. npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @nprofile…el4d Is this apropos of a recent event I missed? npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @nprofile…k5y2 I know I am not helpful, but.... npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann #nowplaying #AphexTwin - Selected Ambient Works 85-92 npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann It just occurred to me that the opening sequence of Soylent Green is almost a template for Koyaanisqatsi. I don't have a practical use, even a toy project for one, so I have not done so. I'd also like to run Debian and a vanilla kernel on it, which narrows down options. Plus, the prices can be rather ouch. npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @npub1yc8…507h Ah, different school of black magic, then ;) npub15rsdn4heqxlt44ltgew3q4m0fp4wfdtakl0n4hftxzxsjtlqut0qehk4mm Tobias Klausmann @npub1yc8…507h Was this using hostapd? if so, what option was needed?
