Visiting the Netherlands is the best experience I've ever received in life!
It's really worth it!
Special thanks to @npub1hy7…0nqq for hosting me, and driving me wherever we had to go in his famous van.
Together with him, we managed to meet our supporters i.e. Doro, Julian, Stacey and Korinna.
We also met many new amazing people in agroforestry, we shared ideas, and talked about how we can grow and succeed as Sustainable Schools Network (SSN) and Eco Youths Network (EYN) by partnering and collaborating with them in either way.
It has really been very busy to the extent that it has felt like running a marathon! So please forgive us if we didn't show up at any appointment(s)

An exciting trip from #Uganda to the #Netherlands had turned into a nightmare for me!
My flight from Uganda was delayed, and with only 1-hour connection in Qatar DOH, I knew things were going to be tight.
When I finally arrived in Qatar, I had just about 20 minutes to make it to my next flight, so I had to rush like crazy buy runing as fast as never.
And then…. I fell down the stairs and my laptop and knee got damaged too. but luckily, I arrived in the last 2 minutes of boarding the aircraft
When I finally arrived in Netherlands, I got more bad news that my baggage had been mishandled by the airline. I was honestly stressed and didn’t even know whether reporting it would actually lead to anything, but still reported it
And during my second day with my host, we tried calling them & added more pressure to the airline
Today, they'd called us and informed us they will deliver it on Monday
After that stress, I finally breathe, smile, and enjoy the NLD
Finally back on #Mastodon

Do we have some trumpet players on this social?
I haven’t found one other than [@gijslevelt](https://mastodon.art/@gijslevelt )
I would be happy to connect with you!

New project loading! 🚀
I am planning to launch it this week.
Introducing the "Uganda Verified" a platform aimed at helping identify and promote legitimate Ugandan organizations, projects, initiatives, and individuals.
The #mastodon account is already live: [@uganda_verified](https://mastodon.social/@uganda_verified )
Follow us to stay updated as we get ready for launch.
I'm also looking for one or more volunteers who can help us set up and manage a dedicated Mastodon server for the project.
For us, verification means confirming that a person or organization is genuinely based in Uganda and that the organization or project they are promoting is properly & legally registered.
The first version will be simple. There is no backend yet, so approved profiles will be added manually while the platform continues to evolve.

Thanks @npub1xw9…75ln , @npub1p09…m5vl and @npub13pt…fuyd for the tips

Hello @npub1xw9…75ln ,
Thanks for the follow!
@npub13pt…fuyd adviced me to reach out to ask for some advice, as am aiming to build the Uganda Verified to help point out genuine persons and orgs in Uganda, and differiciate them from scam.
I wanna do this, while keeping an eye on the gzaverified as the main source of inspiration, but ours will also include physical visits for people in Central Uganda
@npub1xw9…75ln , I would like you to give me some pro tips and also let me know about the main factors I must put in mind for the success of this project!
FYI; I just started coding 3 months ago 🫣 🙈

I got the structure, and I will start coding very soon.
I am already seeing where some of these listed people belong(genuine vs scam)
Thanks for the reminder & outlining, Jules 🙏
On the other hand, please let me know if you would like to participate in the coding

I really like the weeds in between, which we gonna use to mulch the banana & coffee plantation
@npub1hy7…0nqq how does it work in the NL, do you grow corn as well or consume posho or corn porridge just like it works in East Africa?
btw, do you grow any cereal(s) at @npub198a…58jg ?
