because it does not solve problem. I have another problem, which is brain washing of my kids brain with shorts. remember the time YT player was w/o shorts? I want to have control of what my children will consume. It is my responsibility. No bureaucrat will do it better than me. (btw my 10y old son hacked the family link in 2 days).
and also fuck the state..

Czech central bank bought few BTCs. Not for reserves (yet). But as a test. To touch it, play with it and get experienced. They will reevaluate in 2-3 years.

For scientists, it is about risk / benefit ratio.
For lawyers it is about risk only.

I'm in midage and in IT. I started to be a bit depresed as the IT and ML evolves so fast that my brain is not able to catch. Compared to youngsters I felt like dinosaurus. I had ideas to work on, but I was incapable to work on them as it was too complicated to me to start. I was paralyzed. Thanks to AI and vibe coding, I'm again capable to code and realize my projects. AI gave me second chance. #ai #vibecoding

I started to play with #vibecoding . I renamed it to probabilistic coding. You get the most probable piece of code given the prompt :)

It is not so hard to be good in something you can measure. It is hard and important to be good and consistent in things you can not measure on daily basis.

There is one wise guy telling, that there are no shortcuts in life. You need to work it out. I see it as equivalent to proof of work.

Thinking about some home project. Upgrading boiler. I'll do it myself. Why? Because I want freedom in how it will work and look like. #diy And I want to learn something new (and learn from errors I'll eventually do)

I have started to strech my hamstrings for about 2 years. I was about 30cm above floor with my fingers back then. I'm exercising every morning. I touched the floor yesterday first time (for one second). I consider this as proof-of-work. Improving every day by tiny fraction. #PoW

Hmmm, interesting. Few random ideas:
- I see this as western centric (at least now). Youtube offers me a video of some eastern workers creating/repairing stuff using 100y old technologies. I'm ammused as we - the west - are not able to do this. If there is some serious global problem (nuclear war), these guys will survive. We (the west) not as we already forgot these technologies. Pushing our technology edge even further makes us even more fragile.
- Regarding the AI. robots etc.. I believe in opensource. So in the end, everyone will have such capabilities.
- There are two types of people: makers (creators) and consumers. Consumers will die, creators will survive.
