If I understand it correctly, any user that was awarded and accepted badges (NIP-58) can remove them from his profile by just replacing the event with kind 30008.

If a block has 2 txs, one depending on the other, they have to be properly sorted within the block. In other words, the first tx should be placed before the second one that spends from the first.
That didn't happen with this block, hence it's invalid. No issue for the network, just wasted energy by the miner.
How did it happen? I have no idea, it's weird that something so simple got mixed up. Perhaps the txs had something uncommon that made the miner's software to mix them up.

Another alternative would be to let the plugin change the account, not the client. Since in Nostr is the plugin that really manages it.
A new API function could be define that allows the client to notify the website that the account changed so the website acts accordingly.
I'm still not decided on which is the best approach.

New version v1.11.0 of nos2x-fox with support for Firefox mobile.
At this moment Firefox does not allow to install addons on its mobile version the normal way, only a selected few "recommended" addons. However, there is a way to do it.
In the following article there are instructions which involve installing the Firefox for Android Nightly (I think now this works for Firefox Beta for Android too):

La "Tecnología Blockchain" tiene mala fama (en ciertos grupos) porque se la asocia a humo o estafa. Yo creo que la "Tecnología Blockchain" en realidad es excelente. El punto, para mi, es que el caso de uso que la justifica es acotado: Bitcoin.
Unos casos de uso creo que no tienen sentido, otros los encuentro con problemas, y otros me hacen pensar "por que no usar Bitcoin para esto?".
El ingenio humano es poderoso y puede aparecer algo que no veo aún, pero hoy creo que la tecnología no es el problema, sino los supuestos usos.
Nota 1: Hablo de "Tecnología Blockchain" para salir de las definiciones simplistas como "es sólo una base de datos blabla". Me refiero a la tecnología de timestamping distribuido de TXs firmadas con generación de bloques secuenciales de forma costosa, etc....
Nota 2: Dicho esto, me gusta que se pruebe todo y se experimente. De eso se trata una tecnología abierta, y así funciona el progreso. Aunque preferiría que mucho de ese esfuerzo fuera a proyectos con más sentido :)

Regarding browser addon for signing Nostr messages:
Is it worth it to have a manual approval each time you have to sign something? I'm thinking of a PIN or even a password.
The idea is that the private key is stored encrypted without the extension to know the encryption key. So each time you need to sign something you, the user, need to enter that encryption key. It could be in the form of a PIN or a password, which you have to enter every time.
Does it make sense? is it too much?

There has been a few updates in nos2x-fox (the Firefox add-on for signing Nostr messages, and fork of "nos2x") in the past month.
Some are:
- Configure your preferred relays
- Allow your authorization to sites last for 5 min, 1 hour or 8 hours (with possibility of revoking)
- Better display of the message you are signing
- Support for both hexa and nsec/npub format for your keys
- Many UI improvements and fixes

More on the "ordinals" thingy.
The current protocol rules seems to make it easier for things like this to be done. However, bloating the blockchain with arbitrary data could be done before (since the beginning).
So, what do we do with rules that allow things we don't want?
First, the obvious questions: "who decides what do we want?", and "who is *we*?".
Similar discussions arose when debating Full RBF.
Things could be done, but some actions might make them easier to do.
I could argue that we should make everything easier and let market decide. That is the direction I usually lean towards to, but I'm still reflecting on this.

I see a more immediate use to improve performance in the client side. Right now a mobile app connecting to 6 or 10 relays consume a lot of bandwidth (and other resources).
A personal relay/server could serve as an aggregator, where you can even implement your own filtering rules, instead of bloating the client app with it.

I agree it's different.
It could make sense if you fear being filtered out by relays, so you run your own and instruct your followers to find you there.
But of course if many people do that it's not very scalable unless we start getting "centralizing relays", "relays hubs" o something similar.

So people are storing images and other content in the Bitcoin blockchain.
I don't like it but this is what a permissionless system looks like.
People should be able to use the such system however they like, following the protocol (otherwise they won't be able to use it). Just as miners should be able to decide which TX to mine, or nodes which TX to relay, and neither of both is censorship.
If the TXs pay enough fees, they'll probably get mined. Which has nothing to do with spam IMO. You can pay and still spam.
I like the whitepaper to be stored in the blockchain, I'm somewhat OK with anchoring data for SSI or other purposes, and I don't like images. Why? Because that's my subjective preference, which I won't force onto anyone. Let's not pretend there is an objective distinction here.
The market will decide. Such market is not only made by fees paid, it also includes public discussions and debates that affect preferences and consensus.
