@nprofile…8d0p after my Pixel 9 Pro (GrapheneOS) display was changed in a repair shop, the selfie camera stopped working. It's black. Same problem with GrapheneOS Camera and Google Camera. Can that be related to a software check or was that just a poor repair ?

@nprofile…8d0p @nprofile…xum5 out of curiosity, what is even the goal of such a feature ? Why would people even want to record all their calls?

Whatsapp often crashes with these defaults (maxed). Do you know which one is most likely causing the crashes ?

@nprofile…4new I very dislike that videos pause when screen rotation changes. Can you fix this please? For instance in Signal and Whatsapp the video keeps playing when you turn the phone.
But I guess I can live with it, the world has bigger problems rn 😅

I have had a lot of notifications of "memory tagging detected an error in..." since yesterday with Notesnook, Signal, Winddcribe, … I did not have these errors in the past

@nprofile…4caj Alright. But it would be great to offer an alternative !
For you, so that you are more resilient in the case something happens to YouTube or your content on YouTube (shadow banning, deletions, ...) / YouTube account (restrictions) !
And for us the viewers who already follow you, so we can use a real alternative instead of YouTube front-ends 😬
And releasing your content on Peertube would benefit the Fediverse 💪 It would contribute to make it a real alternative! 🙂
Cheers

@nprofile…4caj Hey did you considered of uploading your videos to PeerTube ? What do you think of it ?

2025-06-04 10:02:05 GMT

@nprofile…m8mr just in case I am not sure if it worked before but I am on the latest update and I can't unlock my private space with my fingerprint. Different passcode for main and private space. Fingerprint set up for both. It works for unlocking the phone but not for the private space.

@nprofile…m8mr I would like to get those beautiful clock styles for the lock screen that are included with Android/Pixels. Are we going to get them someday ? Thanks

@nprofile…m8mr I can't use my fingerprint to unlock apps in my Private Space. It is a known issue ? Best

When I lock the private space, the apps are not able to run at all right ? @nprofile…m8mr

@nprofile…m8mr
Using a long passphrase while using fingerprint unlock already allows to avoid trusting the Titan chip. So using a long passphrase + fingerprint + 2FA unlock (6 digits code) only adds protection from a 5 dollars wrench where someone hits you and use your fingerprint ?
I mean why should I use 2FA unlock instead of only a long passphrase + fingerprint ?

In which order are you going to renovate AOSP apps ? Which apps will have the priority ?
SMS ? Clock ? Keyboard ? Gallery ? calculator, contacts, files, phone ? @nprofile…m8mr

Is the battery health in @nprofile…m8mr system settings reliable ? I have my phone since 2 years and it shows "100% of original battery capacity"...

2025-03-24 18:07:55 GMT

My Pixel 7 with @nprofile…m8mr is draining my battery at unprecedented levels for me. I am on LTE only. I think it's because of Spotify. Rn it is quite hot even when doing nothing (listening to music on Spotify on Bluetooth).
I guess I can do nothing except uninstalling Spotify ?

And another question I have no idea what are the tradeoffs or advantages to choose GOS proxy or Apple ?
