But simply being better does not lead to success. The network effect does exist. There is no "lobby" that advertises. So how exactly are these projects not supposed to fail if no one is committed to them? Outside of Bitcoin, you never hear about nostr and nobody knows about it. You can't invest in nostr like you can in Bitcoin.

There is a new initiative called "Planet Wild" to solve climate problems. The problem by planting trees is, that these trees are going to be cut later. So we just pay there forestation for companies.
Planet Wilds first mission is, saving European bisons which have huge impact on climate and need to be protected.

Deepl is an AI-based translator that works and whose translations also make sense and are not, as with Google Translate, for hardly anything to use because the translations make little sense. Thus, I find Google Translate not purposeful in its task. Its obviously that Deepl needs some kind of data to translate these data.
According to DeepL:
"Protecting your privacy and personal data is very important to us. We therefore only use your personal data within the scope of legal regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the German Federal Data Protection Act ("BDSG"). With this privacy policy, we would like to inform you - regardless of whether you set up a DeepL Pro account, use our various apps or visit our website - about the nature, scope and purposes of the collection, use and processing of your personal data by DeepL SE."

Why using the Bad Google-Translate either? DeepL AI based translation is the best for years.

What are your costs for running a relay? And how do you define what is spam and what is not? Don't quite understand the relay thing yet, a few times I had issues that I felt relays weren't communicating with each other, and 1 relay has different data than another. I had limited my relays to 5 (including payrelays), and all of a sudden nostr names like Jack's and Snowden's weren't loading. On iris.to it works meanwhile. On Amethyst I had there briefly times problems, but what has caught again.

The only thing that bothers me is that Wallet of Satoshi is not opensource. BlueWallet has fewer features, but you can work around that with Alby. BlueWallet on the other hand is opensource and so far relatively stable, at least I haven't had any problems yet.

But I prefer BlueWallet (opensource) over wallet of satoshi.

2023-02-04 11:27:07 GMT

Wallet of Satoshi isnt even OpenSource. Custodial Wallets sucks too. Try running a lightning node and using a non-custodial Wallet.

Irgendwann wird Code sehr komplex. Gerade wenn mal viele Leute am selben code, unkoordiniert arbeiten. Kommt immer auf das Projekt an, an die Zahl der Nutzer, und ob Geld verdient werden muss oder nicht.
