It turns out that my good friend in Edmonton and his family can take Nala after all. I appreciate that it wasn't a simple decision for them and that they are taking it seriously.
Glad they are willing to cover the vet bill, and that I won't need to put her down.

I can't help but think that it's like any other important call of that nature.
If it's unexpected, no matter how plausible, hang up and call support to confirm it's the real deal before doing anything or giving info.
You were locked out of your account because you didn't do that. I say this with all due respect: you're tech savvy and honestly should have known better IMO.

That is correct. The US just elected their H*tler. That is very clear to me. They may have elected Tr**p on paper, but he's just the figurehead. V*nce will take over and then they're really screwed.

The US has had 4 long years to fix this, prevent him from running again, and even lock him up. Those in power refused, empowering him to win. This was all about choices.
The Dems didn't attack this for the very real threat that it is.
Now we must suffer the consequences.

Given the number of charities, particularly in Edmonton in this example, basically begging for donations, it's very clear to me that many of those attending stadium concerts are NOT donating money. Any many in general, tbh.
Our charities wouldn't be struggling if enough donations were coming through.
And if people have hundreds to spent on entertainment, they can give $5, and nothing will convince me otherwise.

Can you imagine if every person who pays hundreds of dollars that attended the Metallica concerts (or any stadium concert) gave $5 to a local charity? The difference that would make in our communities. Or even $5/mo?
