I know of this "Open Slopware" project that tracks AI enshittification. They already had an entry about GitLab, but it's probably a good idea to do a merge request for an update. (This is on Codeberg).

I used to have an "isolate the fascists" attitude. But I've lately seen some arguments that if you do that, they only become more fascist.
And that's clearly what's happened with one of these people. She was a good person who spent time helping people. Then she developed the opinion "the genocide in Palestine is justified". Then her friends abandoned her. Now she's doing "the SAVE act is good, actually". It seems she's been love-bombed into the MAGA movement.

I accidentally clicked on facebook the other day. I saw a fascist post by an acquaintance there who has apparently become a fascist since last time I talked to them.
Then I accidentally clicked on facebook today and saw a transphobic fascist post by someone who I don't know who they are but I apparently friended them at some point, only now they seem to have made transphobia their entire identity.
My question is: I have a duty to engage these people, right?

Yesterday I used a computer at the public library. Holy shit, is this what computers are like when other people use them???
There were ads everywhere on the internet. All the desktop programs I was using kept trying to get me to log in and use AI, to the point that it was hard to figure out how to use the computer like a person.
I did a web search and it was hard to locate the answer through all the AI and ads.
This is how people live???

Interesting. I got a bunch of transphobia in response to this post. I reported what I've seen so far.
The whole reason I'm on a train in Mexico City is that I had to flee my home and country which has been taken over by fascists.
Everybody please punch the next fascist you see. Isolate them.

I got a call from the health department doing a random survey. They asked a free form question: what are some ways that people might protect themselves from lead exposure?
I don't think they were prepared for my non-individualist answer: lobby politicians, contact journalists.
They asked me to repeat myself.

Tell me about orientation fights please. To me, it looks like a lot of bees flying around aimlessly, changing direction, landing, and doing more random flights. I see lots of flying bugs do this sort of thing.
But I've been wondering: am I wrong about what's going on? Do I just get distracted by the numbers? If I was able to focus on an individual bee, would it appear more purposeful?
And you seem to be suggesting that you know the purpose. I would very much like to know.

Here's my data so far:
* Canada seems to have potable tap water at the same rate as the US.
* Indonesia does not have potable tap water.
* Mexico does not have potable tap water.
* India does not have potable tap water.

I still think there's some value in noting which of the things they do are actually against the law. I'm always talking to people and saying the fascists are taking over and the rule of law is over, and they think I'm crazy and overreacting, the courts are going to shut this all down any minute. So when I can say "here are the crimes they're doing flagrantly and getting away with it", it helps bolster my case.

I have this idea that, even among the natural numbers, there must be some numbers that cannot be named. Is that true? Like, an integer with an infinite number of digits and there's no repeating pattern to the digits? You could never name that number in a finite amount of time.
And, if these numbers exist, then it seems like almost all the integers would be unnameable.
Am I making any sense or should I be sleeping?

What if there were some way to expose the kids to, like, a weaker form of the virus? Or something that is not dangerous but is enough like the virus to trick your body into gaining immunity to the actual virus? That seems safer.
And also, more convenient! You wouldn't have to organize these parties with other parents. You could, I don't know, pick up this wonder substance at a pharmacy or doctor's office at a time that is convenient for you.

I like granola bars because they're shelf stable and ready to eat. We've got a brand new puppy and I don't have time for such things as putting stuff in a bowl or using the microwave. I cannot use such luxuries as spoons and forks.
But here's the thing: granola bars are sweet. I don't want to eat sweet all the time.
What is something I can get that is savory, shelf stable, ready to eat with one hand, and comes in one piece?
It also has to be vegetarian.

And yet, we sometimes see "Vulcan ships" and they are not the same thing as Starfleet ships. We see Vulcan captains and they aren't in Starfleet uniforms. Do the Vulcans have their own Starfleet-like organization separate from the Federation's? Or are these all merchant ships?

I used to work at a medical quality improvement collaborative. They put out a paper that said that there were more heart attacks the week daylight savings time started than there were at other times. That flew out of the journals and into the popular press.
A couple years later, they did a new study and they were like "Well, we looked again with more data and it turns out we were wrong the first time."
The scientific journals wouldn't even print it.
