Sorry to necro-post, but I am considering a new Pixel which would involve a new setup of GrapheneOS. Do you still use this setup method? I'd be interested to know if your position has changed over the past few years.

So all my Yubikeys are vulnerable to a cloning attack, but the attack would require: 🔻 opening the physical YubiKey enclosure 🔻 physical access to the YubiKey while it is authenticating 🔻 non-trivial electronics lab equipment
You're still safer using a #Yubikey or similar device, than not using one.

What's the future look like for existing Soapbox installs? Will development on that continue?
Will there be a migration path for existing Soapbox users to Ditto?

Will the Calendar Android app have the ability to create duplicates of existing events like the web does?
When I have irregularly reoccurring events, like a dentist appointment, that contains a bunch of information, I have to wait until I'm home to make a copy of the event. It would be great if I could do this on my phone's calendar app too.

Since this domain is primarily used for forwarding, it's probably best to put it in @npub1sl7…xy6s
I don't see any way I could forward certain incoming messages sent to a #ProtonMail address.

@npub1wjw…ue5t @npub1sl7…xy6s Any suggestions of how I could move my mailbox and forwarders from #Gandi? I'd like to use the base domain on #Proton, but I'd also like to take advantage of #SimpleLogin for the forwarders if possible. However, all of the forwarders are on the base domain (not a subdomain).

I've setup custom domains on both #Proton and #SimpleLogin before.

The domain will remain hosted on #Gandi for now. I'm managing the DNS from there. No problem manipulating the DNS...it's just the e-mail and forwarders that are going away.

@npub1wjw…ue5t @npub1sl7…xy6s I have a domain with #Gandi, and I've been informed that they will soon discontinue free email accounts. As a long-time user of both ProtonMail and SimpleLogin, I'm looking for advice on how to smoothly transition my domain and its 100+ forwarders to ProtonMail. I have about a month to make the switch, and my goal is to centralize the management of my domain on ProtonMail.
Here are my options:
1. Add the domain to #SimpleLogin and recreate the aliases there, while directing them to my primary ProtonMail mailbox.
2. Set up the domain directly in #ProtonMail, using it as a mailbox, then setup forwarding.
Currently, I only have one mailbox at Gandi. Can the aliases I create in SimpleLogin coexist with my primary domain mailbox in ProtonMail?
Your insights and suggestions are highly appreciated! How would you recommend I proceed with this transition? 📧 #EmailMigration #ProtonMail #SimpleLogin

@npub1wjw…ue5t
It's not a problem per se. It's more of a feature request.
Unlike the web browser version of #ProtonCalendar, when selecting an existing event on the Android app, there's no option to create a duplicate.
This is helpful when you have an existing event with lots of info in it, and you want to make a new event using the same info. (ex. Dr. appointment)

2023-08-31 01:39:19 GMT

@npub1wjw…ue5t Is making duplicate events on the Android app for #ProtonCalendar in the pipeline?
