Existe-t-il une façon d'avoir des analytics pour son site personnel sans utiliser Google, qui soit européen et qui n'utilise pas l'IA ? 😄

I've just finished reading "Vengeful" by V.E. Schwab. I would read anything by that author, she's just fantastic at telling stories. I'm just hoping it won't be a long wait until the next book.
10/10, give me more EOs

I understand that's a lot of work to do, especially since you don't want to market only one app but a few of them 😅 I'd suggest you to take it easy, because those are free apps anyway so it's not as if you were earning anything from them. And focus on only one.

Also something I noticed: you want to focus on Quandrant and Mattrbld, but they're not even on your homepage. You've got to go on your /apps page to find them. I'd move them on your homepage for more exposure.

Also, I've got a few questions:
- what are your goals with each webapps?
- what's your audience with each webapps?
- would you be ready to get your webapps into stores like Google and Apple?
- If you could choose one to focus on right now, which one would it be? (because you can't do everything at once)

Could you let me know what your webapps are about, Amadeus? I found Quami, which doesn't have a website ready to go yet and thus you can't do SEO just yet. Btw, for Quami, I could test it and talk about it to my community of writers, it would be a good fit.

Is there any search engine without AI nowadays?

2025-09-02 17:31:28 GMT

I hate BMW-drivers! They're the worst 😠 Each time I encounter one on the road, they have the most aggressive behaviors.

On the book cover, there's the title and name of the author, so there's always that that are mentioned :) It's not like you're taking an illustration without quoting the artist, is it?

I'm seeing a lot of videos on YouTube about people who "left" social media for x amount of time, or reasons to "quit" social media but still posting on YouTube. It puzzles me: isn't YouTube a sort of social media too? 🤔

Haven't used Framer or Webflow before, but the introduction of Figma Sites might be serious competition? I don't know if accessibility is taken into account when the website is live though.

2025-05-08 07:35:48 GMT

Watching #figma's keynote right now. Let's see what they have...

2025-05-06 20:27:30 GMT

Sooooo... I told myself I should write my book tonight but instead I've been drawned to my personal website 😅 Is it wrong that I'm procrastinating that way? I can't seem to be able to finish anything lately. Like I started building a book nook and I'm this close to complete it, but I can't find whatever I need to just do it? Is my book not gonna happen this year and am I fooling myself to think it will? 😬

And I won't even start about wannabe authors who think because they asked ChatGPT to write a book, they're authors 😬 Now AI-generated books are flooding Amazon just for egos to be satisfied and the thought it will make someone rich...

And for LLM, well... I come from a content creation background in which my writing was my strength. Now everyone think they can write because they prompt an AI to do it for them... and marketing interns use them instead of thinking with their heads 🙈 It bothers me so much...
My skin crawls when my sister tells me she asked ChatGPT to calculate her potential mortgage 😬
But I also agree with Garrett about medical AI. Some of them are good.

Easter lunch... never a nice word. Instead: constant criticism 😬
At least I migrated everyone on Signal 😈

I'm glad February comes to an end. My car broke, then my husband got a kidney stone and now my son has lice 😅
Seriously, what's wrong with this month?

2025-02-18 19:00:35 GMT

I wrote a little something about AI 🙈

Remember that client meeting I was stressed about last week? We have another meeting tomorrow morning... and with another agency. I'm too stressed out for my sake 😬 I'm kinda preparing a script to explain every bit of design... wish me luck

2025-01-27 15:08:34 GMT

Gosh that meeting when you try to explain your design but can't quite find your words 😬
Was difficult to understand the client by email and I was so scared to not understand them in real life too...

2024-11-27 10:54:22 GMT

Always happy to hear enthusiastic clients about a web app I designed 🥰

2024-10-31 13:45:44 GMT

Received yet another email offering to redesign my personal website and give me SEO recommendations... that person didn't set one foot on my website to send me this 😬 #spam

2024-10-25 06:42:01 GMT

How is it that I'm always coming back to Mastodon and am happy to write a little something, while I find it so daunting to post anything on Instagram?

2024-09-15 07:59:30 GMT

I'm gonna do a reading of my book at my local bookshop, somewhere in December ❤️ Funny how things turn out sometimes 😄 I'm thrilled!

So, I'm asking if you ever found yourself in that kind of situation in which you build something for years and then stopped wanting to continue that path? What did you do about it?

2024-09-01 14:31:54 GMT

I used to make YouTube videos very consistently for four years, about my writing and publishing life. But since the birth of my son two years ago, plus the fact that I pivoted to web design, I find myself not wanting to create videos anymore. 1/ I don't have the time and 2/ I'm not even writing anymore.
However I recorded an update video, after two months of not releasing anything. And I find myself unable to release it because I kind of don't want to? I don't see myself doing it anymore.

What’s your favourite rss feed tool? I’d love to subscribe to a few blogs but I don’t have any tool for rss 😅

Also, the page on the left is the Book List page, with all my titles. While the one on the right is book specific, with the description and some reviews 😊

Which is much needed if you ask me. I can't say my website is currently fit for smaller screens 🙈 😅

#WIPWednesday - I'm currently finishing up the redesign of my website. There's just one page left before I hand it all over to my dev/husband for code translation 😄 Here's a snippet!

My Now page isn’t responsive yet 🥲 But I’ve updated it with the latest news… just read it on a desktop 😅

2024-08-02 14:29:35 GMT

Hey @npub1uum…k6dd, I just checked your website and I love it. The design is very minimalist and refined. I particularly like the way you kind of added your portfolio without it taking a too big place. And your blog is the chef's kiss 👌
There, I just wanted to tell you this 😊
Have a great day!

I had the idea to create a nursery finder platform on desktop to help people find a nursery near their home. But I learned in the newspaper that a gov service is about to release such a platform (proof it's actually useful, haha).
Should I continue with my project just for the sake of the portfolio or should I stop because it will exist in a few days?

I’m starting a new job this coming Monday 🎉 The first design job I’ll be paid for 🥹
I think my career switch is complete!!
